Thank you so much for this! I took a studio technology class in school and learned to engrave and cut on epilog machines. I didn't even know that dremel had a version out (that seems to be much more affordable!)

300 dollar k40 china laser cutter from ebay will give you the save result and save you 5500 bucks

Do the coasters have good weight to them? Thinking of making similar thickness wood hardware but worried it will feel light and weak

What thickness did you use for the plywood? Love this project!

I used quarter inch Home Depot plywood, although the laser did struggle with that. Had them cut down a full 4 x 8 sheet in the store. It was much cheaper that way.
