How thick is the plywood and can I use something a little thinner? I want to have one made that is 30 inches by 4 feet. to fit the space where it will go. Thanks for the video.
Yeah you could us thinner plywood like 1/2”. Be careful though be cause the thinner you the less support the pegs have to support shelves and heavier stuff. But 1/2” should be fine as long as you aren’t hanging anything to heavy. Thanks for watching!
Depends on how hard you bump into them! They aren’t meant to be bumped into. If you want to secure them more you can use a C style shelf hook to secure them to the dowels. The dowels stay in the holes very well and support a surprising amount of weight. ours aren’t touched once they are put up unless we want to change what’s on them.
