Hey Tom Lin, Thank you very much for you kindness to share your videos of sushi making on youtube. We appreciate of your sharing. You make best sushi. Have great holiday! We are going to watch more of your videos:)
I started making sushi at home with my kids because Covid had all the restaurants shut down. We love your videos!! We're in MI, too - my Grandmother lives right by you, and we've been to that market. Thank you for sharing, you made our day!
These are great videos, very practical. At times, I wish you would add a written annotation with unfamiliar words (it is easy to do that within youtube without reposting). When we know the spelling we can write down and find those ingredients at the local store. Great channel!
I am sooooo very happy I found you I am very thankful for your recipe and for showing us how to make delicious food I’m so surprise you been on RU-vid sooooo long and you aren’t famous already... I just want to say I love all that you do and thank you very much
Amazing! I'm so happy you're from Michigan! I've been looking for good reliable sushi grade fish. I'll be heading there today to make nigiri and sashimi! Thank you so muchh! If anyone has other suggestions for any Japanese markets carrying sushi grade fish, that would be further south, I'd be forever grateful.
Hey chef I love your vids my parents got me a sushi set with a bamboo mat chopsticks and a book. I am going to be making these sushi's for my family. Thanks for the guide
Oh my gosh Tom... THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!!! I've never come across anyone else on youtube that's from Michigan. I love sushi... but where I live we don't have a place for me to get really good sushi quality fish and I never knew if there was a place in Michigan to get some. Thanks to you now I know I can get some from the place you said in Novi. THAT"S SO CLOSE TO ME and I didn't even know it. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!! ^_^
I don't eat much sushi but it's absolutely amazing and so interesting to watch you make sushi. Sushi is such a cool food to prepare. :) thank you for your videos.
Jaw dropped when I heard Novi. I am in MI as well in the Saginaw Bay area. I don't know of any markets in my area but I do want to try at making my own sushi. It is just a quick fresh healthy eating option (need to get eating better) and the 2 sushi restaurants near me charge 7 for a simple roll and up to 20 for fancy rolls, so it would probably be cheaper to make my own. I personally love the eel and smoked salmon with the skin.
Hi Tom! I´m seeing you from Brazil! Could you write down the rice recipe?? I´ve watching so many videos of this and your recipe seems to be the better!!! Thank you so much or the tips!! XX
What kind of rice do you use? Also. Where do you get all of your Sushi ingredients from? Great step x step videos. Thumbs up and new subscriber now. Keep them coming.
Thumbs up! Thanks for your lively and enjoyable videos. The positive attitude in your voice is also a big + and all is so well explained in every details. After viewing these, I know that I'll also be able (with practice) to make good tasting "SUSHI" for my family! :)
Thank you so much for the video! Definitely mouth-watering! Sushi is my favourite food ever and I really want to learn and make myself at home! This video will help me ♥ Loves from Turkey ♥♥
I love sushi and just learning how to make this will be great. so I am hoping this video helps me out on making sushi. :) thank you for making this to help out. much appriciated.
I add a 1/4 teaspoon of horseradish to my store bought cocktail sauce and I like it better than wasabi. I also lightly salt and lemon juice the avocado as soon as I cut it.
That diner knife is called a butter knife in the US. I know different countries call it different things, but thought I'd help you out just in case. :) Awesome videos by the way! I'm starting to make sushi on my own.
Do you make a phoenix roll? I love making sushi but haven't found a good phoenix roll yet. We have a sushi resturant close to me that makes it but they say it's a secret receipe. Thanks!
DUDE! nice job... question? can you make this with brown rice or chinese black rice. I am a foodie and love to eat, but I want to try and eat "healthier" and was wondering if you can modify this dish?
Fortunecooking I live Michigan as well, but near Kalamazoo. Any place to buy the sushi rice, sushi seaweed, sushi meat and any other sushi ingredients needed, so I can start making my own sushi?? I love sushi. Any help, would greatly be appreciated. Thank you and great videos. 👍.
