Thanks for an actual frying video! All other videos I saw were for air frying and I wasn't sure if there was any tip to make it crispy in a normal frying process!
What temperature for the first and second fry? I tired going by the sizzling of a test potato but within _10 seconds_ of the second fry my sweet potatoes were burned black😭 so I know my oil temp was too high
160c for first cook then 190c to crisp up, if you don’t have a thermometer put a small cube of bread in and when it goes golden brown you should be ok 👍
Agree you can leave peel on veg and I often do but getting crispy outside with the thick sweet potato skin doesn’t work in my experience, so have to peel them. Normal white potatoes you can leave the peel on 👍
