Hello, I'm trying to make partial dreads to go with my curls. Is the crochet step real important? Also what did you use to hold down the ends? I think the hair ties I'm using are too large.

Hey there great video. Question please help I started my dreads on my own and I have very loose and frizzy hair. I did not part to good so they are just kind of every where 😕 they have been in for a month now. I love them but need to get them under control. Is there anything I can do? Some or tight, I thought about taking them out and trying to redue them but man I don't know if they will all come out
the frizzy hair is not a problem. Use a croshet, like I did ;) Also, when they get a little longer, you can redo the roots to maintain the direction you want them to have a certain position. Hope it helps ;)
+OneShotMartin they mature and keep the shape 😂 also, there is a process called maintenance which consists of dreading the hair roots with a crochet ;)
