I think this is a really good idea but not with plastic as it breaks down in the sunlight. If you are growing anything edible, your plants will be feeding off of micro plastics in the soil and then you eat them. The same as with all the plastic pollution in the ocean, they are finding microplastics in the fish.
When I lived in Andalusia Espana, the locals used this method to keep there young olive trees alive during the hot summer. The hole was a lit smaller so the water lasted longer.
I agree with you here about the hole at bottom being a bit too large, as even in this video I can see air bubbles rising continuously. Some plants may die from root rot if over irrigated, so definitely the seep hole needs to be smaller; or a cotton wick placed in hole to control water seepage to absolute minimum. Nevertheless this video is a very good source of ingenious idea. Thanks 🙏
Awesome, if your other method doesn't suit us, we always have this method of Drip Irrigation! Thanks for sharing Green Wall, 👍and greetings👋from central Mexico.
❤💚❤🇩🇿One and a half million thanks for your beautiful ideas and your creativity that is very useful. You are wonderful in your generosity and kindness in transforming these valuable and precious ideas for all people, especially those who are interested and useful in their societies and for the beautiful green nature. And your knowledge and in the balance of your good deeds and your family. I learned from you, thank you very much, from Algeria, my sincere greetings and good and beautiful dreams. I forgot to tell you that I will use the drip irrigation method in my garden next to the building in which I live, and I ask God that every drop will water any plant that I will plant, God willing, before you water it. It will water you in Paradise with the Muslims. Thank you very much

@@manuellalala ...
Yes, i was thinking the same. It might be good for plants that are just for decoration but not a good idea if youre planning on eating them. You'd have to make a glass or ceramic version of this method.
It is a good idea. One thing I will point out is plastics with time will partially Decay into microplastics which find way into your food. I will rather suggest you use bamboo.
Excelente video.
@@GreenWallGarden Do you put water in the evening till morning when the plastic must have emptied or all days including afternoon? Your response will highly appreciated!
