SE PINGAR 1 GOTA A CADA 2 SEGUNDOS NÃO DURA 1 DIA pois 2 litros de água sáo aproximadamente 40.000 gotas que dividos por 24 horas dá 1667 gotas por hora que divididos po 60minutos dá 28 gotas por minuto que dividido por 60 segundos dá menos de meia gota por segundo ! Para durar 15 dias teria que pingar 0,03 gota por segundo ou 1 gota a cada 33,33 segundos ou menos de 2 gotas por minuto. NO VÍDEO EM 4:01 o tempo entre duas gotas é menor que 2 segundos. Nesse rítimo para durar 15 dias tem que usar uma bombona de 34 litros (+-).
Question: In the “more” section, it says to “change the drip cloth every 14-15 days”…is that “drip cloth” the yarn in the lower tube? …and if you need to change it, how do you thread it in at the bottom of the bottle…seems like you need to change the whole system…? Or is that a typo and you meant charge…as in replace water…?
It's a tiny air valve in order for the water to drip down slowly. If it the lid was sealed, the water probably won't be dripping at all. If you loosen the cap water will be released. But not as slow as using a cotton bud.
If the cap was closed it would be airtight so it would not drip. The hollow cotton Q-Tip inserted and sealed into the cap would allow air to slowly displace the dripped water.

I was wondering the same. The only thing I can think of is it let's air in to allow dripping, but someone else commented the drip is too slow. It seems to me you can simply drill a small hole in the cap and just leave it along. If the concern is to last longer, just use a larger bottle perhaps the gallon size jar.
