I really appreciate that you are making a tutorial. Here are some tips: - You talk about a lot of concepts that are hard to grasp and understand in very "high level". Like "find a fitting kick/bass for your song". How? How do I know they are good for drum & bass? Any tips for finding good drum & bass kick/bass so on? - "figure out your bpm, 170 to 180". How should I know what it should be? I think a lot of drum & bass is 174. Maybe mention that as a good default? - Your microphone has really noticeable and annoying background noise. Don't know what's up with that but I'd look into it. - You do tell the order in which to add these instruments which is nice but not how you added them. Like how did you pick the sounds and how did you know the rhythm? - Your room looks pretty cool actually. I'd get some more light on your face though, you look kinda dark. - Sidechain guide was nice. That was best part of the tutorial. And mentioning what kind of basses you want to have in drum & bass. That was also great content. I know this is a bit critical, I just thought I'd throw in some feedback since you seem to be small and maybe you'll become big one day if you keep up the work.
in my opinion the quickest way would be hopping on splice and finding a drum and bass pack and just previewing the samples. But keep in mind that there is no set in stone type of kick or bass that you need to make drum and bass, so just follow your intuition and do what sounds the best to you!
