In this video our host Albert Howell learns how to make delicious mashed potatoes from our expert Andrea Buckett.
Recipe:
4 Yukon Gold potatoes.
Salt.
4 tablespoons of butter. ( 1 tablespoon per potato.)
¾ cup of milk.
Peel potatoes and cut into quarters.
Put them in a large pot of salted water to boil. Water should taste like the ocean.
Boil potaotes until they are fork tender.
Potatoes take roughly 12-15 minutes to become tender.
Mash potatoes.
Pour in half your milk and keep mashing. Once that is mixed in well add the rest of your milk.
Add butter and continue to mash.
Add salt and pepper to taste and keep mixing.
Empty contents into a serving dish.
