Put a dual chainring on the front and a 7 gear derailleur setup on the back Moosehead motor to the outside of bottom bracket put the cranks back in get a second chain then make a short chain to go from the motor to the smaller front sprocket and a longer one to go from the other front sprocket to the back derailleur like a normal setup so you can leverage the gears and get a lot of more out of that likely 10 or less newton-meter motor just like a typical mid-drive with gears like all the cool kids have instead of direct drive with no gears and your fuel put free wheel on your cranks it should feel quite natural when you're pedaling and when you're not I think but you know a lot more about bikes than I do so I'm pretty confident you'll figure that part out

Weld the sprocket to the metal plate if you're able to. Definitely a safer option.

shoulda got a bike with rear gears. could lower or raise the ratios :) more speed or more torque when needed

i wonder if i can just simply put a hub motor and the stock hoverboard esc and bypass the on/off thing and manually put the sensor on the bike pedal so i just move my feet to move, im so stupid and smart i just might do it and i get a free battery pack installed that has a charging circuit

10.41 into the video you did a test run of the motor.. It looked like it was off-balance and had a small wobble. This is not safe.. Also, your battery pack is a fire waiting to happen. Don't leave this thing unintended in your home even if it's not being charged. The whole thing of a death trap. But,,, at least you can say you tried. 🤓

Invertí las relaciones pero atrás ponele una con velocidades de esta forma no le costará al motor lastima y agarra más velocidad. Si tenes la otra llanta ponérsela en frente. E irá más rápido y no costará la salida.

Y otra sugerencia a todos esos cables sueltos les hubieras puesto y uno grueso de color negro un fideo grueso donde estubieran todos los cables y te evitas meterlos todos juntos por el agujero

Admiro tu iniciativa de tu proyecto, sin embargo, como crítica constructiva te digo lo siguiente puntos: 1- La especie de cajita que hiciste no tiene ventilación y se va a calentar tu controlador junto con la batería en periodos semilargos (imagina en periodos largos). 2-Al quitar los pedales no podrás pedalear y en cuesta arriba tendrás que bajarte a caminar junto con la bici ( debido a que el motor no tiene Torque y no podrá con el peso). 3- Al estar en constante uso el motor aunque este sea en terreno plano, se va a calentar debido a que solo él está jalando el peso de la bici y el tuyo (sabemos que esta es la finalidad) sin embargo, este motor no está diseñado para jalar el peso de bicicleta y el de la persona (ten en cuenta que en el hoverboard son 2 motores que se usan y que su carcasa es menos es 1/4 de peso de bicicleta aprox). No tomes a mal mi crítica, te lo digo porque yo hice una, pero puse el motor en la llanta delantera y ahí puedo deducir en base a esa experiencia los puntos antes mencionados. Saludos desde México...!

i see everyone changing sprockets, why notjust leave the larghe one from the peddle on and have geared back wheel sprocket? there is more than enough torque on the motor... what you did there is a waste of time. leave the small sprocket at the back.

battery need be lot biggest. about 50AH have ok, and if buy motor better have 64-72Volt. dont buy 12-36V weak power no good.

I don't know how to connect this device, on the accelerator with a contact key, this accelerator has 5 wires (On Throttle Socket: Green, Black and Red) (separator: 2 wires; Yellow and blue.) This throttle has a motorcycle key and battery indicator. on the brush controller there is a white socket written: (Derailleur) in the colors green red and preto. I already know it's the accelerator but what about the two yellow and blue wires???? where can i plug it in?? we have two blue wires in a white socket written lock two blue wires written lock; what are these two wires for?

little ugly box haha, i add my bike nice elektric box, you have wery little battery need lot more if want drive good. and 350W motor have too little bicykle, no power lot no go up hill newer ,need pedals help lot, minimum bicykle motor need be 500W good have 1000-2000 W if want comfortable drive. i has build 4 E-bicykle now cheap controllers and motors, but true have better buy 1000W motor only not less.

That big sprocket at the rear is like having it in first gear. Just like riding a bike in first gear you'll be going nowhere fast. First Gear is good for going up hills and for the first 3 seconds riding on a Straight road.
