I don't know that diodes would be marked + and -? since what time? As far as I remember, the polarity of the diodes is always marked as anode and cathode.
Wow this is very good and simple circuit. I ll try it in my free time. But one thing i want to know that . Will it auto cutoff when fully charged ? Or not ?
How is this full wave though. Looks more like half wave because when the current switches in AC it has no way of traveling back because the diodes are all blocking the path way back during the switch in AC. It's only half wave from my point of view.
:) He he, actually this is a center tapped full wave rectifier . That "Creative World" person used 4 diodes , one pair for each part of the secondary windings to increase current. Otherwise for under 1.5Amp applications one diode for each part would be enough. The center tapped full wave rectifier uses a center tapped transformer to convert the input AC voltage into output DC voltage. When input AC voltage is applied, the secondary winding of the center tapped transformer divides this input AC voltage into two parts: positive and negative. During the positive half cycle, current flows only in the upper part of the circuit while the lower part of the circuit carry no current to the load because that pair of diodes are reverse biased. During the negative half cycle the lower part current flows in the lower part of the circuit. center tap is grounded (zero volts) The DC current produced at the load , will return to the secondary winding through the center tap.
@@papunblg1988 Oooh I see! I never knew he was using a center tapped transformer. Actually this is my first time ever hearing of such a transformer. Thanks for informing me.
@@ChiDraconis @Nicholas Jordan Long ego center tapped step down transformers were very common here in India. In my youth I have seen 12-0-12 and 9-0-9 in the same secondary . That was total 5 points in total at secondary, like 12-9-0-9-12. Also seen 12-9-6-0-6-9-12. Its was possible to get 24 volt from a 12-0-12 volt transformer living the center tap and using a bridge rectifier (half of the rated current) :)
Need filament lamp (12V, ~2 A), between battery and charger, for current limitation. Otherwise, a short circuit will damage the charger. And you can install lamp with lower power, for accumulators with small capacity. Optimal charge current - 10% of nominal capacity for Pb accumulator (10A/h - 1A charge current).
@@harryarias453 Use lamp for current stabilisation. If filament cold - resistance of lamp low. If hot - resistance high. Fuse - protects from maximum current.
Dear Brother, ek simple circuit hai ! Lekin bohut kam ki hai.Mujhe to bohut hi achha laga. Ek bat puchh na chahte hai ? Mera pass ek 6v rechargeable battery hai ? Usko charge karne liye Kya Changes karna parega! Our diode 1n4007 use karne se chalega. Please reply kijiyega. I will wait for your fruitful reply as well as my very best wishes for your knowledgeable video. With thanks.
1N4007 has maximum current rating of 1amp. According to the current rating of the transformer , use suitable diode. 1n5399 is 1.5 amp . 1N5408 is 3amp etc.
@@anantalalsarkar3323 আর একটা বিষয় খেয়াল রাখবেন। diode এর ফরোয়ার্ড ভোল্টেজ ড্রপ। (When the maximum allowable consistent current amount is flowing through the diode, the voltage differential between the anode and the cathode is 1.1 volts. for 1N4007 and 1.2 volt for 1N5399 etc.
Sir do you have a messenger for fb? How can i connect using rectifier diode(square)type? Can i see for the diagram? Or what no. Of diode did you used? So that i can adjust the no. Of diodes, like 4pcs 9amp doides
Malamang sir kc apat. Pag dalawa lng half lng ata yun.mkc pag gagawa ka ng fullwave ata apat dapat kc parang ang outpod magiging diamon xa, dalawang pauntang + dalawa papuntang negative pro parang yung apat iisa lng ang dereksyun😂😂 pwd half ata yan. Pro ok na yan basta gagana. Heheh
How to determine the transformer is 220 V. Because the label of the transformer has been taken of for a long time now and I have ni idea wether if it is a 220 v transformer

Current baddane ke liye 4 diodes isstemal kiya hoga. 1N5399 ka rating 1.5 amp hai. Parallelly do diode ek sath motlab 3 amp . This is not a very good idea but ok in case of parts shortage
