It doesn't need to be superfast willow or anything fancy for a fountain, in fact that would go badly wrong. The evidence shows that it was plenty good enough!
Of course you dont need it to fly or explode im thinking 60/30/10 for the bp with about an extra 5-7 % metal dont have to be iron ,alu or magnalium would look good too maybe titanium if you want larger sparks
