These are the 3 cell Lipo batteries that I used www.ebay.com/itm/Lipo-Battery-11-1V-10000mAh-25C-XT60-3sRC-Drone-Lipoly-Battery-3S-Fr-Quadcopeter-/391838559023?epid=1839851182&hash=item5b3b65eb2f:g:2jcAAOSwf-xZo4lD
Hello Congratulations on your work and sharing it. I need your help. What is the diameter of the propeller? I'm thinking of this engine that says the same thing? • Voltage: 12 V DC • RPM: 300 rpm • Diameter: 37 mm • Shaft length: 21 mm • Length (excl. Shaft.): 58 mm • Shaft diameter: 6 mm • Torque: 3 kg * cm • Weight: 200 g Thank you friend?
Ok. I used Lithium polymer (LiPo)battery I use 12V 10,000 mAH Lipo batteries connected in parallel. I tested my torpedo for a while. What I can say? My motor is very big. Its about 55 lb. trust. The whole torpedo with battery is about 16kg. It works, but a bit heavy. I recommend you to build smaller torpedo and use smaller motor, about 36 lb. trust. Your torpedo total weight with Lipo batteries should be no more that 11 kg. I'm sure, you will appreciate my advise. Believe me.
