.bro while using custom npc with replay mod in 1.16.5 for forge...i record my scene with replay mod...but when i go to edit that replay video to get ciematics...the skins of custom npcs are reset to steves skin ....out of 20 npc 17-18 npc lose their skin...an you please help me out...also pc is no issue ...my pc is strong enough for anything in minecraft

Thanks! Yes I know how they work. Have you ever used MCedit before? It’s a third party program that you can ‘export’ parts of maps or a building of such. OR you can use Worldedit and draw a box around something you want to have as a schematic. Custom NPC’s can read that via the builder block and then build it. If you watch my main Custom NPC video, I go over it a bit somewhere in the video :D

well 1 issue, I'm using custom NPCS on a server on 1.16.5 but the follower menu won't show up whenever I click edit in fact it always switches back to either Trader or Bank, any help?

Hmm that might be a glitch with that specific version unfortunately. Or it's not saving somehow?

Too bad, the mod creator did all that work for the ui and the mod. Had they only added some arrays they could have checked if the npc was an appropriate type and just checked what armor and weapons they have to change the stats dynamically.

Yea that would be cool. but if you can get cool mods that have custom armor, you can adjust values to make it feel stronger

How to make the follower teleport to me, I fell into a cave and my follower followed me but when I left the cave he stayed inside and couldn't get out

Unfortunately its a bit buggy. It doesnt teleport to you reliably, so you have to keep an eye on it and make sure it keeps following you.
