So how would I store these for a couple days without them drying out? I'm new to fondant and wrapping them in plastic wrap probably wouldn't work too well I wouldn't think lol. Any other tips or ideas?
Hi Julie, fondant will always harden a bit once its exposed to the air, in fact if you use CMC powder it will harden a little more but not to the point that it will crack or look dry. You can store them in a Tupperware or a gallon freezer bag and they should be fine. And keep them out of direct sunlight to avoid fading 👍🏻
Hello! Great tutorial! Did you use something to apply the wings to the bee itself? I see you place the indention on the body and then maybe wet the tip of the brush with water before inserting the wings?
These are so adorable! I actually followed a different bee tutorial but am having to give it a second try because my bees kinda...squashed down a bit into little pancake bees. Is there a way to avoid them settling, other than making them the day of? Or do I just need to let them dry out a bit longer before storing them? (I'd rather they maintain their shape than stay soft)
Hello, the key I think is that you dont want them soft, this is why I add CMC powder, it helps the fondant hold its shape and drys faster, thanks for watching 👍
@@CupNCakeOfficial Awesome, thanks so much, I'll give it a try! I've only been working with fondant for 3 days now so I'm not expecting to be instantly great at it but I can't wait to try your bee-making method!
@Hudha_Bakers Thank you for watching, this is an older video, I was not and still am not an editing pro, but I think I'm a little better now, feel free to take a look at my newer videos! Good luck and God bless! 💖
