Never thought I would have garden snails as pets here in Iceland it's almost impossible to find garden snails with strong shells, but I did find 160 of those just laying around at one area of my town. So I took them all home and made them all Pets, just trying to find a way to strengthen their shells. Glad to know they eat eggshells. This way I never have to throw them away.
Hi, how often do you feed your snails with this egg shelf powder? Is it daily or once in few days? How is it? I'm very new beginner just starting keeping a tiny garlic snail. Your video is awesome. I learn something new. Thank you for sharing.🙂
In this case the eggshells are ment for calcium so put some eggshell powder in your snails tank every day. Snails know how much calcium they need and will take from it when needed.
Well I have Geckos so I have to dust their food with calcium powder and I just use that for my snails calcium source. They devour it I’m not sure what it’s made of
Does anyone else have a trained snail I've had a 2 snails since I was 8 their names are mub and grub they can follow instructions oh and I'm 12 now so yeah
I have two questions: Can you feed this to water snails, if so, how? Also... At the start of the video, you said soak them in water, what temperature does the water have to be, as is it hot or cold, (pls don't say a specific temperature, lol)
No, the eggshells will just float around the tank and itll be hard for the seasnails to get to it And use warm water, its to get oils out the shell and make the shell a little softer/easy to grind so the snails will be safe
