I unfortunately have to precook the shrimp or fish for my ceviche due to compromised immune systems in my household but man I miss ceviche so bad (specifically fish) 🤤
I’m pretty sure you can get a similar ceviche texture by using a sous vide, if you did the veggies normally all the flavors would mix and you could mix the cooked seafood in at the end so it doesn’t overcook
I’ve only eaten Ecuadorian ceviche. Looks so yummy 😋 My cousin is Dominican but does not like sea food so her Ecuadorian husbands family makes a chicken one for her
Worst 🤨🧐🤔 no way could it be the worst! Chicken is always good with veggies and and tortilla chips or tortillas/tostada shells! What's bad about chicken and veggies!? When combined it's the same because the flavor is in the veggies and the lemon/lime!
U r the bomb Mrs. Fine mama cita. ❤😊. Always liking your videos so I have recipes cause u cook so good. And me trying to meet others I need some great cooking ideas. So thank u. Also fyi u are a great mom. Love your channel. Huge fan. ❤
I was so excited to try ceviche for the first time at a restaurant thinking it would look like this and I was so disappointed😩. It was big chunks of vegetables and shrimp but this looks delicious 🤤
She seems like she’d be the best person to be consoled by. Idk y but doesn’t she seem like she’d be all like “who hurt you?! Let’s get those btches” lol
@@roshnipatel4393 your ignorance is showing! I don't know how you come up with the fat girl because first of all she's not fat and you literally just threw so much shade on her...
Looks incredible! Speaking of knife skills my dad taught me anytime you’re cutting something longer than a finger you want to cut it down to size Your knife is only so many inches but a carrot or celery can be a foot long. Find the size that matches your knife so you can make fine cuts without going across the entire board!! ❤ I love ceviche and I have a spot I catch wild tilapia on my days off so I will be definitely trying this
1-2ish hours, just try some and youll be able to tell by the texture, it gets firm on the outside and pales in colour. It will get firmer the longer you leave it as well
I have had ceviche in Peru and it is very artistic. In Mexico it is basucally made the way you make a good salsa. You just add the seafood cooked in lime juice, add your favorite hot sauce to top it off. Both are very good
I like to use raw diced zucchini in place of cucumbers in salads. If you use just the inside part it's very similar in texture, has a really mild flavor that mixes well with different flavors and has lots of collegen too!
You have a pleasant voice! Anyone doing videos should because I've heard some videos that make me want to cringe by the sound of their voice. You get 👍👍👍
Wait i love ceviche and always hated when buying it they had it in chunks literally wonders how the food trucks got it shredded. Nice. Now what was the point of separating the veggies when you mixed it all together at the end??
😂. Should of just bought fish paste. Who blends there fish for ceviche? Grated carrots I'll try it for my next ceviche. I won't throw orange into it. It's the marinate process.
