This is exactly the recipe for Strawberry Pound Cake I have been looking for. I am so very glad that I found your video. I really appreciate your recipe. Thank you so much! 😇🙏 Love it n cannot wait to make one myself. 🥰
Chef Fred, I was a little skeptical about this cake BUT I made it last week AND my family and I absolutely loved it. This cake is very moist and flavorful. This recipe will be added to my book of favorite desserts. I will be making it again and again. Your cake came out the pan perfectly, what is that yellow substance in your cake pan?
I am glad you enjoyed the cake. It is one of my favorites. The yellow stuff is baker’s joy. It is oil and flour in a spray can. You can get it in the store where the spray oils like Pam is. Happy baking.
Made this yesterday. I think I should have let the purée cool down before I added it to the mix. Also I had a rectangle glass tray so reduced temp to 325 n cooked for 65 min. Tastes good but the cake is really dense n the surface of the cake is hard. Not sure why, what did I do wrong?
Yes the purée needs to be cooled. In a rectangular dish the cake was probably not as thick as a Bundt pan so sounds like you may have cooked it to long. I would have done 350 as well. Hope this helps.
Just old school...Tip Alabama style.....👉dryed 👉or AKA dehydrated strawberry 🍓... flavor is more intense.👈. strawberry 🍓 an 🍎 juice... Mascarpone cream cheese....
And if you see this please make us some more videos I see that you haven’t made anything in about a year please make something! I would love to see a new recipe
How long do you let this cake cool in the pan. It's a great recipe but I have tried to figure out the best length of time to let it cool so it doesn't get stuck or come apart. Anyone have any success?
@@jdtorrence if you use salted butter just leave the salt out of the recipe. If you use unsalted butter than add the salt in the recipe. Hope that helps.
The size Bundt pan would be a 9 or 10 inch round. Yes, you could use regular round pan to make a layer cake. You would need to reduce the time in the oven though.
Hi Kadence, You could use a blender. Or you can chop the strawberries very fine with a knife and scrape the juice and chopped berries into the pot. Hope this helps?
