Now let's - MAKE THAT SANDWICH!
It's EPISODE 21 and it's a SPAM SANDWICH that was delicious. There's just no two ways about it. I can't believe it's the 21st sandwich already. I've decided by sandwich 50 I'm going to make a book. Ingredients:
Spam
Pickled onions
Pineapple
Terriyaki Glaze
Wasabi Mayo
A crunchy green - butter lettuce
Haloumi
How to:
Make pickled onions!
Pickled onions
Slice an onion into rings then heavily salt and let sit for 20 mins
1 cup vinegar of choice
1 cup of water of choice
Add whatever spices you’d like - mustard seed, corriander seed (or nothing at all!)
While those marinate (try to do it the day before but no biggie if you forget)
Slice and fry spam in a skillet.
While that’s going mix 1 tsp of wasabi into 4 tbsp mayo
Cut Haloumi for frying
When the spam is done remove it from the pan and throw the pineapple in the pan so it will soak up the goodness of the pan and fry.
Give the pineapple a flip and then glaze with the Teriyaki Glaze
You can also marinate your pineapple in Terriyaki sauce over night then fry.
Give the pan a wipe, add a dollop of oil and fry your haloumi!
Slice bread
Spread mayo
Layer Haloumi
Layer Spam
Add lettuce
Add pineapple
Add pickled onions
Add the top piece of bread.
Try to breathe in between bites.
