1. Leave your door open (to be approachable for flat mates) 2. Be pro active, just start conversations 3. Join societies, go to their events, exchange contacts, hang out with people after events 4. Use what you have in common with people

I love how your channel is helps people to get through the tough stage of passing through university. It could be the most lonely and scary stage for young people. I wish I had this much resources to help me while I was in university 💕

These are great tips, thanks. What I got from this in short was to take and create more opportunities to interact with people and make those connections. You can run into issues if people are set in their groups though. I’ll apply this next year.

we're the same age lol, and please don't overthink things! I'm learning to focus on the present moment and it's helped me a lot. 4 years is plenty of time so take it easy, though I'm not sure if you want/need to hear that or not. :))

Hard to strike a balance for natural looking make up and that can stand filming and lights, the more lighting I use on my channel the more difficult it is👍🏽

Hello!, I've been watching your videos, since I was thinking on studying my PhD in there, however I wanted to know if I'm going to have a hard time if my monthly stipend is around 1200 GBP, like, will I need a part time job? thanks! love your vids :B

Hello Arturo! I would say it highly depends on your living standards - if you live cheaply 1200 should be enough. If it's including rent it will definitely be a little tight so perhaps a part-time job would allow for more flexibility

I think it’s a silly question but when you spark a conversation with someone in front of you, or in the queu, what do you say after introducing yourself?

hi! i’m not at university yet, i’ll be going this year, so i’ve not had that exact experience myself, but from making friends in other situations i think the best bet is just to ask some gentle ‘getting to know each other questions’ like after introducing yourself you could ask ‘what course are you doing’, ‘where are you from’, ‘what accommodation are you staying in’, they will probably ask you back and you should be able to get a conversation going from there :). i think you could probably ask people if they were planning on joining any societies or if they had already joined any as that would give insight into whether you guys share any interests that you could talk about, after that if they seem nice and you get along you can then ask for their instagram or sc or whatsapp or whatever, hope this helps!! :D
