Rainbow ZigZag Pattern order of colours you start with: green, yellow, blue, orange, indigo, red, purple, white • means the two strings DON’T switch place! ^ means the two strings DO switch place! * means leaving your FIRST and LAST strand OUT of the row. BF= Backward Forward knot FB= Forward Backward knot F= Forward knot B= Backward knot 1. BF•, BF•, BF•, BF• 2.* F^, F^, F^ 3. F^, F^, F^, F^ 4.* F^, F^, F^ 5. FB•, FB•, FB•, FB• 6.* B^, B^, B^ Now REPEAT the pattern from this step on. I hope this made the tutorial a little clearer!

I've only tried using crimps on the ends of my bracelets once before but it didn't go so well. So I was wondering what the glue was that you used? I didn't think to do that before.

Celtic Fae Tacky glue, and E6000 work really well. ;)

Could I do this pattern in only 4 colors? Would I need to put them in a specific order if I just repeat the 4 colors twice?

Hi Kat! Your tutorial is very good! It has a good tempo and you teach your skills very well. I definitely want to try making this bracelet now :) There are many tutorials out here that doesn't give the right inspiration for trying out the craft myself, but yours definitely do. So thank you for that! :) There was one thing though, that made me have a hard time focusing on your instructions and the knotting, and that was the music in the background. Maybe I am extra sensitive about sounds because of my ADD, but maybe it will be good for you to know anyway, who knows. :) There were several times that I felt that the music was a little too loud and also a bit stressful. You should of course always use the music you like yourself, but maybe it can be possible to lower the volume just a tiny bit? It would probably make it somewhat easier to not be as distracted during the process. Only speaking for myself of course. Maybe this observation can be useful for you in some way. :) Either way, thank you for a great tutorial! I'm looking forward to following you and checking out the rest of your videos. :) Best Regards /Paula

It matters because if you do just backward or just forward the colors will switch places, which will mess up the bracelet design.

When the edges don't turn out straight, but bobbled, then are you making the knots too thight or to loose?

It's probably because you're varying the tightness of each row of knows. It takes a bit of practice to make them consistent.

If I add one extra string (making that 9 colors:grey).. would that mess up the entire bracelet? is this only an even string bracelet pattern using only 8 colors?
