This video is about how to make ghost chilli pickle it's considered to be the world hottest chilli.
Naga chilli, bhut jolokai ,ghost pepper ,king chilli called by many names this chilli is one of the spiciest/hottest chilli in the world It has a strong fragrance and is found in every Naga kitchens. This video is about making king chilli pickle with simple ingredients.
pickling also helps us to store the chillies for off seasons which is a great way and value addition in agricultural products helps fetch better price in markets.
on my video I've missed out mentioning about adding salt my apologies to that salt not only add taste to the pickle but also acts as a preservative so salt is a must

Hey guys on my video I've missed out mentioning about adding salt my apologies to that salt not only add taste to the pickle but also acts as a preservative so salt is a must .🙂

I didn't used spoon measurements because the spices I used comes in a packet with equal ratio of each spices except the mustard seed so I've added them separately equal to the amount of half packet masalas I used

I usually cook 10mins in vinegar after chopping .let it cool n dry and put the required ingredients plus cooked oil.. And it'll be ready to serve even with bread 🥰🥰🥰

As far as my knowledge...pickles shouldn't be kept in plastic jar as it turns out sour..glass jars are much much better.

I actually explained that but my audio got muted while changing the music cos of copyright song anyway I used the oil before adding in the jar and mixed the masala (I also used raw oil cos the oil I cooked ran short )we can either use cooked oil or raw it's upto us ... If we use Cooked oil we can eat directly after it's done but if we use raw we need to sundry it before you can consume that's the only difference ..I hope you find this helpful

Can't say ..mustard seed is quite bitter so not sure if it alone will taste that good but you can try and let me know too 😅

I understand it's the same everywhere but if your focus is on preserving the chilli only then bamboo juice works well or you can just use just mustard oil and salt

Add all the ingredients which is crushed and kept along with king chillies and mix it well and let it cool down then add in container and store it or you can also sun dry it for some days before consuming it

Recipe: 1) Wash the ghost chillies and let it dry under the sun for a day. 2) Now cut the ghost chillies in small pieces ( use gloves for the protection ) 3) Heat oil in a pan and then let it cool itself. 4) Take a clean dry glass bottle and put the chopped ghost chilli pieces. Then add one and half tablespoon of salt.Pour the oil slowly. 5) Put the bottle on sun for a week. Your ghost chilli pickle is now ready to serve. Tip: If you want a bit of tangyness add lemon juice to it. Do like and subscribe for more such recipes ❤
