How To Make Good Plaster After Taking Old Skirting Boards Off 

In this video I show you how to take off old skirting boards..
When you take off old skirting boards it always leaves holes and gaps in the plaster or even worse no plaster at all.. The plaster needs to be made good before you replace any skirting boards, making good the plaster gives you a solid infill for when you put new skirting boards.
I used a thistle one coat plaster which was perfect for the job, I used a 6inch Marshalltown plastering jointing knife to make good the plaster which is a great tool for a job like this .
