I had guacamole once but the avocado wasn’t fully mashed so it’s kind of like a Pico de gallo and it was really good Also the other ingredients were a little bit chunkier
Whenever cutting anything with a SHARP KNIFE, always make sure to hold it in your hand firmly as you cut downward, paying special attention to keep the sharp edge towards your palm, or maybe even your wrist. Also make sure you memorize the number for 911. Keep a tourniquet, a ziplock baggie, and a bucket close by. Use the bucket to catch your blood, the tourniquet to try and stop the bleeding, and the ziplock for collecting any loose fingers that may be laying about. I will give you two points, or possibly a gold star for your forehead for not dicing the onion in your palm.
Made guacamole according to this recipe and whilst it tasted ok, it was as though something was missing taste-wise. Is there anything you'd suggest to make it tastier?!!!

Nah more of a fridge thing, and it usually lasts a couple days in there, make sure you cover it with ceran wrap and get as much air out as possible to keep it from oxidizing though
Maybe, but it might taste a bit more bitter. Sometimes I replace mint with dry mint & it’s similar, but you can sense when the ingredient is fresh or not so it will just taste a bit stronger than fresh cilantro or mint.
This avocado was beyond ready for me, I get grossed out by the overripe areas. I buy them green and open them at the perfect moment, beautiful light green and smooth, no spots. Sometimes I get too eager and open it a bit early, then I have to dice the hard avocado into really small pieces and eat it that way. Even with lime, I've had them go bad.
Just watched a video with a Mexican guy making guacamole. he said removing the seeds from the tomatoes is a gringo move. I believe he said a "gringada"
Real guacamole is made in mortar ; garlic , put it in a mortar and smashed until is a paste an keep doing it with al the ingredients and is with tomatillos instead tomatothe only ingredient that is not smashed is the cilantro is chopped !
So, it's fake if it's not made with a Molcajete? All the ingredients and the Avocado become fake if I mash it in a bowl, or a plate like I do. I've been eating fake Avocados everyday. 🤔
