My family is from a town in the Dominican Republic that borders Haiti, and my great-grandfather used to make bonbon in his bakery! The recipe is very similar to yours, only uses eggs instead of coconut milk. I loved finding this little piece of shared history, our two countries are really sisters 🇭🇹🇩🇴❤️💙
Is there a Haitian dish🍽🍜 or snack that you don't know? Who taught YOU these recipes ? Jeezzzzzz. I so envy😠 you. It is a good thing you are sharing it with us.👏
Oh yes 👍🏽 oh yes that’s the right recipe where do you buy the cane syrup? I know the Jamaican 🇯🇲 stores have the 👍🏽best Vanilla and Almond extracts including the vanilla beans. Not sure if they have the sugar cane syrup. Thanks for sharing 🙏
Whenever I bought bonbon siro at the store they're always dry this video will show you how easy it is to make the most moist Bonbon Sirop ever.. let's get the video to 150 likes
I came here looking for bonbon sirop, while this is an amazing brown bread recipe, this is NOT bonbon sirop. the main ingredient in bonbon sirop is molasse and it's really more cake like and let like these beautiful rolls you put together. these look great though, they will be added to my rotation as my family LOVED these.
Are you sure that is bon bon sirop? Because that looks more like Komparet. I have had bon bon sirop, but it has never looked like that. It looked more like cake, so it was flatter, and I've had it with glaze on the top of it. :/ but it still looks delicious tho!!😃
Checked the description but it doesn't say how much butter... and exactly how much flour? Also can I use dark corn syrup or Brown sugar to substitute for the cane sugar? Thank you😊
