I use my own fresh milled flour, typically hard red, hard white or a combination of the two. Much fresher and more nutrition than imported milled flour. I have the same older style lid but I think I'll try to order the newer lid with the built in bucket.
Can you share recipe with fresh milled flour. I do fresh milled flour too and just bought one was wondering with fresh milled flour do you need more liquid? I have various types of grains. I have kamut , hard white wheat hard red , spell berries eincorn and rye. So do guide me. Thank you.

Can anyone tell me the trick to cleaning the disc? I made my first batch using the penne disc and am having a TERRIBLE time getting it clean. I have soaked it for 2 days and it still isn’t clean.
i think it has to be made of metal. this one i think has a nonstick coating. there's no way it would last for more than a mix or two if it were plastic. pasta dough is very tough.
@@conrads_cornerThe smaller machine is no longer available 😢 I’ve had to replace mine and ended up having to get the 7000 Series, which is large. Does make lovely pasta though, even mine is all GF because I was diagnosed with Coeliac Disease in 1998.
There’s ordinary pasta and egg pasta. Ordinary pasta is made with water. Egg pasta is made with beaten egg and water. You can make flavoured pastas too, ie spinach, beetroot, tomato, carrot, turmeric, etc.
Marker 7k :37 HEY!! Use a hanky or your sleeves not the back of yer hand for mucus removal! YUK!!! And both your girls were pretty constantly handling your hair. Puh-leeze!
I like the machine but definitely not sold on the story 🙄. And really disgusting how she has to have her hands all over the food🤢 Also I just cook the pasta with the sauce, food isn’t complicated, people are.
