Very interesting ! Being someone very vulnerable since very young. Your analogy is true. Except the last relationship for me was an eye opener. In 2015 the relationship was extremely strong in the beginning, a sense of how a good relationship should be. Until realising that she wasn't true to herself, causing friction between us. I realised she was a control freak. When after nearly two years, deciding to end the relationship. Only to get all my vulnerability shoved back into my face. Which l don't regret, it was one hell of an experience or episode in my much experienced life. Now relationship free since summer 2018, breathing with or without a mask 😉 is rewarding ; savouring this feeling of oneness and freedom. The art of loving without trying to love, and the art of being in a relationship without being a couple, keeping that oneness, is, l believe maybe the key to happiness. No, Men are not wired like this. We see a problem and we fix it. By the way 1 of my best friends is a Female. Vulnerability = Weakness. Sure we have Emotions and Empaty. Women are attracted to Men with Confidence, Self Esteem, leadership, setting Bounderies, a bit unpridictable, Man who speak their Mind and are not afraid to say "NO"
