How to make homemade bodywash Christmas Time 

I remember "back in the day" when bottled body wash was not a thing. When it came out, my mom told us we could just DIY it like this. Of course, my mom was old enough that she lived through the invention of paper diapers, etc. She and her friends sewed fitted cloth diapers for their baby when plastic backed diapers gave their kiddos rashes. And she taught me how to do that 20 yrs ago. We're in a day where certain luxury items are thought of necessities ....body wash certainly isn't a necessity, but it is NICE to have. I have found your videos so very helpful. One of the things that I have done with grating the soap. I have used a salad shooter and then I have saved my fingers and it goes much quicker.

Because there is a lot of added water, preservative should be added ideally. Often the final product is used up very quickly, so people don't add it. For personal use is a personal choice. Certainly if made to sell you are required to add a preservative 🛁🚿 Interesting recipe 👍

The major thing no body is telling you about the results, its a shitty outcome that doesn't even clean you, the scent is not gud, basically its a waste of ur time n energy The proper way seems wid Castile soap which i need to try myself too

I used one bar of home made castile soap. and a tea kettle full of hot water... it did not gel ... so I added another bar.. it did not gel. so I added another bar... it's just liquid... so does this process only work with manufactured soap?

Ok, what did I do wrong? I have tried this 2 times, and both times, it never turned to gel. It stayed as a thin liquid. Don't get me wrong, it works great, but it never gets thick.
