How to make Irish Brisket Stew with Guinness

I made an easy Irish stew for you guys. I slow cooked some brisket, and put some Guinness in there as well. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
2.5 Lbs Brisket flat (the lean part)
1 Guinness beer
2 Tbls Worcestershire sauce
3 Carrots
3 Stalks Celery
2 Onions
4 Cloves Garlic
2 Sprigs Rosemary
4 Bay leaves
Salt & Pepper
Beef Broth (enough to cover stew)
2 Tbls All purpose flour
Red Potatoes quartered (I used six)

little advice on the rosemary and other herbs as such, i find it easier to start from the tip of the stem and strip to base instead of the base to tip but it is up to you how you do things, just thought i thought i would give you a hint. but the stew does look good though

That looks really good! Do you think it would work well with a chuck roast as well? The brisket prices here are through the roof!

Absolutely, you could use chuck roast, short rib, oxtail, or brisket. Basically any tough cut of meat. Yeah it’s weird how they price brisket it’s all over the place
