Hey guys! Have leftover panettone? Then you have to try this recipe!!!
Recipe:
4 eggs,
6 slices of bacon
4 slices Panettone or Pandoro, 1 inch thick
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp icing sugar
Pinch of salt
2 tbsp of maple syrup
Fry and crisp up your bacon and set aside. Cut your 4 slices of Panettone or Pandoro in 1 inch slices and set aside. Beat 2 eggs and add a pinch of salt. Dip your Panettone into the beaten eggs and place on a non stick pan to lightly brown up. In another pan add oil, and fry up the eggs, sunny side up.
On 2 plates, divide the ‘Italian toast’ on each plate with a dusting of icing sugar. Top with an egg each, divide the bacon and drizzle with maple syrup.
Serve immediately.
