I’m Canadian - Cree - a real Canadian but I have made great connections with various communities and shop at various ethnic grocery shops. You can get everything in Canada. I’m sorry but if you can’t get something then you aren’t looking properly or are too white and sheltered to go into ethnic areas and grocery stores. Embrace the spirit of being a real Canadian if not then you are a coloniser who is just a visitor!

So glad that my native friends and neighbors have embraced my 'whiteness' and welcomed us here. We have to work together because we all have our strengths and willingly share them so we all live a good life. We also share our various traditions and enjoy the variety of local foods and their preparation. Our community only has a few hundred villagers and the store is so small we barely have basic supplies. It took 6 months for some cornstarch to show up after someone bought all 5 packs at once. Some stuff is so expensive because it is blamed on shipping expenses. I do mail orders from a few places that ship for free and they don't have a lot of ethnic or unusual items either. Don't be so rude!
