Very pretty. I like how the "bones" of the fan shows. I'm thinking a bit of string or narrow ribbon dangling from the bottom would look like the wrist holder thingy. And wouldn't a tiny tassel look adorable! Oh, maybe a little bow at the bottom! And you are right about making them without the cardboard strips...the lace does bunch at the bottom. If you are clever enough though you can minimize it and finish it off with a decorative piece. TFS Tina. Hope you have a great day. 😁
Maybe a circle punch, then cut around the circle with scallop scissors. Then cut the circle in quarters. Or whatever you needed. If you don't have a scalloped oval punch. Maybe add an embroidered flower. And a stream of ribbons? That may be too Victorian. IDK. Lots of possibilities. It's very cute. TFS🤗
What a beautifully unique idea. I think the embossing folder idea would really look good. The first one you did looks a bit unfinished to me since the paper strips show through the lace, but this is easily fixed by adding another layer or using a thicker lace.
Sorry I couldn't make it last night 😭 but just watched and the collage is lovely and very different in style to Joie's. These fans are so cute and remind me of those ones people brought back from Spain in the 70's and 80's. Loving the flower on there! You could make embossed card look like metal work with black card and guiding wax. The small ones would make cute parasols upside down! Oh silicone craft/baking mats are great for gluing on as nothing sticks. 💖
I'm so excited to join your channel. I have never seen you before and you're such a fantastic creator. I love these little fans and I made one along with you. I look forward to more recent videos but I love to binge watch old ones. Thank you for sharing your knowledge of embellishments and more. ♥️♥️♥️😊
Cute fans love them all something new & fresh,, if someone does not have the oval punch with a design I’m thinking the decorative scissors would work depending on what the person’s favorite pair of scissors I can’t wait to make @least one Thanks for sharing 🥳❣️. Beautiful fans!!
I bet they'd make nice tuck spots with a bit of engineering ..like adding them on top of a corner tuck? I love these, very pretty....thanks so much for sharing...
Hi Tina, Your fans and embellishments are simply gorgeous! Awesome to use in soooooo many crafts! I look forward to giving these a go! TFS! Take Care! X
So very cute, Tina! I think I will add a narrow silk “wrist” ribbon or cord to the back and use my heart punch, as I don’t have a scalloped one. Thanks so much for sharing! I am thinking a red lace fan with a black ribbon for a boho journal.
So pretty. You might could edge the lace with glitter glue or glitter nail polish. That would give a little sparkle but be very easy and there's no weight to pull the lace down. Just a thought Gloria
These are so precious! I made a fan to use as a tuck, but made it from a template I found online. Mine had individual 'blades' held together with a brad. It really wasn't practical, though, because I'd never open-and-close the fan and the brad made it bulky.
Thank you so much for mentioning the downsides of the individual blades held together with a brad, because as I was reading I was thinking that it sounded awesome. I wouldn’t have thought of the negative aspect x
@@shabbydabbydoodah 😁 I think it's amazing that you have so many followers, I remember when you was still going out to work, I'm guessing that's a good 2 years ago now 🤔 but yes you have done amazing. You are my morning routine I wake up with my cuppa at my desk watching you while I plan my day 😁
So pretty with the lace and pearls! Love this idea❤ Sorry I missed your premiere, I was on vacation in the Rocky Mountains and didn't have reception, but Congratulations on your 30,000 subscribers!!🥳
I absolutely love these so much! You should also check out Gi Kerr's fancy hats. They are so much fun! You could definitely do a mass make on those. We could have fans and hats!
