Join me as I flip through my recently completed Denim & Lace Junk Journal. This journal was made by repurposing an old book cover and adding tea and coffee dyed paper with a digital journal kit. It has 3 signatures with a total of about 108 pages - and lots of journaling space.

I really want to do a denim journal and I love the kit you used but it is no longer available on the Etsy store. Any suggestions on how to purchase a download of this kit? I can’t find any others that I like as well.

Hi...Really love your journal. II just used the same Studioe 28e kit for a stacked envelope journal. I didn't do tea dyed pages but may I ask what weight paper you use for the kit pages that are tea/coffee dyed please? I find I get bleed through of the colour if I tea dye digital pages afterwards. Do you tea dye before or after printing and what weight paper do you recommend for these pages please? I very much appreciate your help. Thanks so very much. Yvonne

I typically use 28 or 32 lb text weight paper. But the problem may be the ink jet paper, as ink jet inks do often bleed when they get wet. Try letting your pages sit for a few days before staining, and then when you do tea stain them, just dip in the tea and pull the sheet right back out (don’t soak them). This combination may help. I usually use laser print sheets if I am staining a lot. Hope that helps!
