In this cooking video, I'm making Lamb Yiros! I normally make Pork Yiros or Chicken Yiros, but here in Australia, Lamb Yiros is more common. So, I'll be making a delightful Lamb Yirous recipe! This video goes in-depth on how to make the Lamb Yiros. I show you the entire cooking process, including the end result! For more wonderful recipes, watch my other videos! I just showed my six year old, because I'm taking him to the local Mediterranean convenience store in a couple hours, and he loved it. I really appreciate the way you explained it so simply. He's never had a gyro before, and they have a deli that has the best ones in Arkansas (United States). Stoked, man. You've got my subscription. Great video!

Let's get one thing straight, healthy it is not, it has a lot of that delicious delicious lamb fat and to taste right it needs to have your daily intake of sodium in one serving. But darn it if I'm going to eat stuff that's healthy and tastes like crap...I would rather die happy eating this.

Amazing ❤ I made yiros last week Following another recipe from the internet and it was not even close compared to yours. Now I’ve found your channel and it looks like the real deal. My chicken shop where I get my yiros from have gone away on holidays so now I can make my own at home ❤❤ greetings from Adelaide ❤ Edit - I love the fact you spelled it Yiros as supposed to Giros. I was told off once before because I wrote yiros like I’ve seen all my life here in Australia 😅❤

Second Greek guy I’ve watched making this , I look forward to trying the bread though seems like a lot of yoghurt but I bet it’s really soft in end. I made this once with another recipe (having never tried it before) and loved it. The tzatziki sauce is incredible & unique flavours, I usually hate cucumbers but they complement this perfectly.

Don't worry about meat temperature. Just cook til brown & crispy,then cut off layers. Put it back on the grill and cook again til brown& crispy...I like my lamb med. Probably less than 30 mins for the 1st cutting. Keep heat NEAR the lamb or it'll cook to quickly. 2nd and additional cuttings will take less time.

Yes. It's called savory...or "throumbi". Go to any Greek deli or grocer and you can buy it in long dried stalks.
