I like using baking powder to clean the fruit! Trying it right now with oranges, a lemon and a lime using brown sugar. Ty for your tips!

Thank you for this recipe:-) could you also share the recipe with the passion fruit too please?

Sure! Once I source them I'll make a video :) In the meantime though, if you would like to make it, usually the golden rule of fruit to sugar ratio is 1:1 by weight, so if you weigh out the passion fruit and sugar and mix it according to that ratio it should work!

how healthy is it to have cheong regukarly because of the sugar content?
@LaurenDiandra
@LaurenDiandra Месяц назад
Everything in moderation of course! ☺️ I wouldn’t say it’s healthy but also once in awhile it should be okay to treat yourself! I usually add it to sparkling water and dilute it quite a bit so I don’t have too much sugar each time I add it to my drink.

So the seeds make it bitter; doesn’t the pith also make it bitter?
@LaurenDiandra
@LaurenDiandra 5 дней назад
Yeah the pith does add some bitterness but not significant enough for me to taste it. You can remove the pith if you want but I like having the skin on my lemon as i like the look of it that way a lot better ☺️

Are you using baking powder, or baking soda. It would seem baking soda would make a better cleaner than baking powder but I'm not sure please clarify.

I was using baking powder but you’re right, baking soda does seem to be the better cleaning agent based on what I’ve seen online so you can use baking soda too!

Can i use honey instead of sugar?

Hi! I haven’t tried it myself so I’m not too sure what the proportions would be but I’m guessing it is possible ? I found this video online and hope it’ll be helpful but can’t say for sure since I don’t have firsthand experience with it. ☺️ ru-vid.comooTYDeu9ENU?si=ui451OVYCyDN-OPF

Sure! I’ve seen many variations of the pronunciation of the Korean word 청 . Initially when I first started there was more posts that pronounced it as chung but I have noticed that it’s been corrected to cheong so I’ll happily update the title to include that and the Korean word too if that helps :)
