This is a simple easy to make Malaysian clay pot chicken rice, a popular street food among the Malaysian Chinese. In colloquial Penang Hokkien, it is called "sapo kay pui" or in Cantonese, it is called "sapo kai fun". This street food is more popular in Kuala Lumpur (KL) then in Penang and can be easily found at most Malaysian style food courts. Usually, we eat it as a meal itself..since it already has the rice, meat and vegetable. You can also break an egg into the clay pot once everything in there is cooked (like eating the Korean's bulgogi).
