Reasons I love this channel: 1) I am discovering artists I have never heard of like Lane 8. 2) I am learning some of the subgenres of EDM and what they have to offer as I find my own production style. 3) Dude's dropping Lawrence of Arabia quotes.
The fact that you're able to produce in all of these different styles just goes to show how skilled you really are. Kudos for another brilliant tutorial.
I don't know if someone has ever told you this but your positive energy makes me more towards music production. Your definitely are a producing master!
Second! Very cool synth widening trick! Chords and instrumentation remind me of some classic Erasure. Maybe a vid in the style of Thievery Corporation would be cool. Thanks for all your effort and hope ya feel better soon!
Holy moly man, this is one of my favourite Lane 8 tracks at the moment, and such a great recreation, loving your style as always even though you are covid-man!
Ohhh yes been waiting for this one. Lane 8 is one of my favourite producers. Brightest Lights is such a tune. Even got it on vinyl. Thanks for the amazing tips once more, sir! PS: Get well soon!
Another awesome one in the ever popular series. Thank you as alway for bringing the freshest tutorials in the most concise, simple and easy to follow way you all ways do.
First off this is a terrific recreation of Lane 8's sound and second, WOW what a tech-house banger from your student Rodrigo! That track should be on Toolroom soon!! Love your vids as always!
I’m obsessed with your channel!!! I really love that I can follow this being really new to music production and also feel like I’m learning all the things I want to know how to do. I’d love if you did one of these videos for Rufus du sol!!
Another brilliant walkthrough! Thanks for putting it together. Particularly liked that panning effect you set up with the instrument rack. Think you'll ever do walkthroughs using other synths? I've been big into Diva lately and have also used Serum pretty extensively though I understand the appeal of using synths that are available to everyone with Ableton.
Another great tutorial. Looking to sign up to your course in a month or so. Would love to see a tutorial in the style of Feed Me - Silicone Lube Keep up the awesome work.
9:21 PROSPA - Love Someone Edit: Your knowledge of Ableton blows my mind. I know I've said this before, but there are so many cool tricks you show in each tutorial. It is much appreciated.
Thank's for your great tips, you give key element so usefull for me. I'm so greatfull. Thank you for your smile and always the beautiful energy, you're the man !
Another great video, get well soon. One thought, I know that you do this in "stock" Ableton to try to make it more accessible, but I imagine more people have Ableton standard and a bunch of free VSTs like Vital rather than paying the extra for suite.
Could you please create a song like Panda Dub? Apparently no one is doing it and I think it would be pretty interesting! Thanks, keep up with the great work :)
Hi Will, could we get a How to in the style of Scot Project please. Would be much appreciated to learn how to make this style of ravey music. Thanks bro
Hey Will, I know it would get repetitive now and then but I would love some arrangement build-up as well with a tune like this. When I got something similar I always struggle to get it into an interesting arrangement. Knowing when a certain part or instrument comes in so we get more or less a real song and build-up.
What a great video thank you! Would you possibly be able to make a walkthrough of a Vintage & Morelli track. Something like "The Morning After" or "Lonely Shore" ? Thank you so much! I love your channel 😁
Hi Will, I've found this video super helpful (get well soon!) - though I can't seem to figure out how you're getting a live feedback of the audio changes when you are adjusting the amp parameters (ie attack/delay) in Wavetable when making the tonal tom about 27 minutes in. Do you have an external MIDI plugged in off-camera? Or maybe a setting I can modify within Ableton's settings? Can't seem to find any answers on the web. Well anyways, you're a great great great help-thanks for what you do!
Great video as always. Any chances to do something from Jon Hopkins like "Emerld Rush" or Moderat's "Last Time" ? Keep doing awesome job Will ya legend ! 🔥🔥🔥
Great track Will! Skillful as always :) I would love o hear a Future Rave video on the style of the creator of the genre, David Guetta. If you haven’t heard Titabium Future Rave Remix then I highly recommend checking it out :)
