Thank you for the info. May you please share with us a breakdown for the amount of food each pig consumes a day at a certain age. Like, after weaning a piglet needs x amount of food per day, then x amount of food a a day when it turns x amount of months (age). I think this may help in planning before bringing pigs to the farm. Tinah, another great video from you guys. I have a question though. Why do you hang the chain? How does it helps the pigs? Secondly, do you not feed your pigs with BSF (Black Soldier Flies). For maize, we thought of growing in hydrophonics. We will get the maize within 11 days after sowing. We are just trying to eliminate the hotel waste, because we do not want any diseases to come. Please reply back so that I may know if I have erred somewhere.

Start with 1 pregnant sow. It'll give you hands on experience on how to manage the pigs in future. Once the piglets are born you'll be learning and unlearning soo many things every day. If you raise the piglets and their mother so well, you'll manage whatever pigs you ever want.. Most importantly you have to do it your self. If you won't be at the farm everyday, forget about piggery farming, do something else.
