You will love this tasty Beef mince patty cutlets.
Mince Cutlets/Chops/Patty
Ingredients:
500gm - Beef mince (or any other meat)
200gms - Potatoes (boiled and mashed)
1 - Onion (diced)
1tsp - Garlic paste
1tsp - Ginger paste
1/2tsp - Turmeric powder
1tsp - Coriander powder
1tsp - Cumin powder
1tsp - Black pepper
3 - Green chillies (chopped)
1 - egg
3-4 - Cups of bread crumbs
Fresh coriander
Salt to taste
3tbs -Oil for mince
5tbs - Oil to cook cutlets
Method:
• Boil your potatoes and mash. Season with a bit of salt and pepper.
• Add oil to a heated pan and add the chopped onions and sauté till translucent. Then add the ginger and garlic paste and fry for 2 minutes or until aromatic.
• Now add the minced meat and cook for 5-6 minutes or till it changes colour.
• Add the dry spices, salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cracked pepper and cumin powder. Mix through and cook till the mince is done. Then set aside to cool.
• Now add the mashed potatoes and chopped coriander to the mince and mix it well.
• Crack an egg and gently whisk to form an egg wash.
• Take the mince mixture and form it into shapes, then dip it into the egg wash and coat it with bread crumbs.
• Fry in shallow oil for 5mins on each side.
