Hello Anna Buena, This is the second video of this type that I have viewed. You gave a lot of good quality information for anyone considering this income strategy/career. I would never have thought of a profile picture, because this is about working with the "voice". Everything I have ever heard about voice overs tells me that the work is being done by people working from home, in a sound-proof room (that is not visible to the client or anyone else for that matter). I also appreciated: 1) How you had a voice over example that we could actually hear and your critique of it. 2) Step 5. Offer Gig Packages. In particular, your screen share of the "Scope and Pricing," and your explanation on how to do this. 3) Your bonus suggestion. Finally, I liked the sound of your voice -- it was natural, welcoming and made me want to listen to you. Thank you, and continued success to you.
My heart is swelling! I do thank you for sharing some of the things you thought were helpful. Thats what I want. To help. I will have more videos soon! Good luck to you! :)
1. Make sure your title for your gig is searchable. (Ex/Female, voice over, English and tagalog, high quality) fill out your “about this gig” info as well 2. Make sure your profile picture is looks professional and is of good quality. Need to create good first impression. 3. Make sure the audio quality is good. (Get a studio microphone if/when you can) 4. Start with a low starting price point. 5. Offer gig packages.
Yes, I agree, Kieran. Your product will speak for itself. If its good, people will want your business. So you really ned to put in the work of letting people know about it in the beginning. :)
Hi, Ms. Anna! I've stumbled upon your videos about voice-over talents for a while now and learned a lot from them. Your videos gave me the courage to start my own Fiverr gig, since doing voice work has always been a dream of mine. I'm still a newbie, but hopefully, I'll gain more experience in the future. I want to say thank you for sharing your knowledge about voice-over works. Cheers! :)
Thank you for sharing this with me. That is the whole point of this channel, to help other people. They say your talent can only be called a gift if you share it with other people. It makes my heart sing when I get comments like this. Like you, I am also still learning. We are always learning. Always room for improvement. So just keep your head down, dig your heels and soon you will see results! ❤️
*For those watching this video. She has been on Fiverr since January 2018 and only has 13 reviews in over 3 and a half years. All of her reviews are only from the last 12 months.*
@@D.Bunker dude, the reason why all my reviews are from the last 12 months is because I only started selling as Voice Over at that time. As I clearly said in the video, I was a BUYER since 2018. My profile on Fiverr clearly says I'm a NEW SELLER. Besides, if I started selling 3 years ago, wouldn't my reviews be scattered within those years? Anyway, thanks for watching and commenting. Helps my channel! :)
Hey, what’s happening! I hope you learn a lot from this video! This is the follow up to HOW TO START YOUR VOICE OVER CAREER AT HOME. It took me awhile to release this, because I actually needed to set up an account and test Fiverr out for myself! What’s you take away from the video? Let me know! :)
This was really helpful, thanks! I have a small channel here but so many people comment about my voice so I sometimes have wondered if I should do something like this. Your video answered many of my questions.
HI Anna! I totally have no idea to become a voiceover artist and I just saw this video. I hope your videos will give me the guts to publish all my draft gigs. I'm new to the industry but my discord friends think that i have a good enough voice for voice acting/voiceover. wish my luck!
Hi Ms Anna your such an inspiration for newbies like me! I claim someday I would be successful in this industry by gods grace. Your videos are helpful! Godbless you
Hello Anna, You are such an Amiable personality. After searching on RU-vid on how to make money as a voice over artist, I came to your video and I am really impressed. I hope to really learn more from your channel and make it as an African. I am an African newbie voice over artist and really need to learn to be competitive. Thanks Oncemore Anna
Hello, Ms. Anna! Thank you so much for helping out beginners like me. I'm unfamiliar using fiverr but now, I'm eager to start. I like your voice and your smile, it's really attractive and charming. Rooting for your future endeavors!
Hi Ma'am. Thank you for this very informative and helpful tip. I just made up my mind to be a voice artist because of the one video I watched from a certain RU-vidr (Mimi) but I also commend what you did to your video. It helped me to understand why I'm not getting any gig in Fiverr. Thanks. God bless your YT channel
I just downloaded Fiverr and I dont know how to set up my Profile, so RU-vid search bring me here,, thank you Maam Anna Your video help me to start the V.O career ☺
Always want to be honest. I know how it feels like to get my hopes up watching videos that make it look easy to get money. Hard work and patience is still key.
Thank you Miss! This really helps me a lot. I’m a working student who’s trying freelancing to support my education and financial needs. I just realized why not I used my talent for advantage in seeking job opportunities.
Ok Anna ~ So I have the Voice, just need to get going with reaching out and booking gigs... Need a good set up a Great Sound Booth first ~ Thanks for Sharing!!! 😁👍🏾
Hi, Anna! Thank you for sharing this enlightenment. I'm still learning voice over, too. The matter is I'm also not an English native speaker & I don't have experience living overseas yet. So, it really is challenging! But yesterday, when I was working on my very first English VO project, I came across this video & somehow I found it insightful! It really inspired me to be so fluent like you (yes, your English sounds really great). I'm from Indonesia btw! Have a nice day, Anna! Please keep making more contents! I'm rooting for you! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi Isabella! So happy I encouraged you to go for it! You do not have to live abroad to be fluent. Just keep using the language and immerse your ears with how you want to sound like. Like movies or TV series! I also have english lessons on the channel. You may want to check it out!
@@annabuena your words mean a lot, Anna :") I'm just a girl from a small town in Indonesia & found someone like you makes me feel completely represented ❤️ So, thank you! I will check them out.
Thank you Anna!! This is SO helpful!! I JUST created an account today, but have not published it. I was stuck on the pricing & still need to upload my reel. Bless you & happy voicing!! 🙏🏽
Sorry this is supper late. The demo I put up on Fiverr are actual projects I worked and asked client if I acn use on my demo reel. There are a lot of samole scripts on the internet that you can use. i will soon upadate a q&a video. :)
I didn't even try fiverr it's like youtube pala, dami na rin ako naririnig about fiverr . Now I know thanks for this info ate.😊 I love your voice talaga ate.😊
I'm in the actor's union so I'd need to look into rates as such. I don't think I'd work for $10/gig, but I understand your well-made point about why. I'm in a good position to get back into VO work because I have a full-time job and can take it slow. I've never tried to book online - only in-person auditions via an agency or connection.
Thank you, Lillian! When platforms like Fiverr opened up, it also opened the doors to voice overs who want to dabble in the craft. Its a slow rise to get into the higher earning bracket, but its a good start. :) Thanks for dropping by! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much for these tips. Im an aspiring Voice Actor and this helped so much setting up my profile. The music at the start blew my eardrums out though so Im not sure if I sound good or not xD
Good day Miss Ann! I just watch your video and i don't have any experience in voiceover but im willing to learn some basics.I am willing to learn and do an extra effort to acquire some knowledge.Hope you can assist me..Thank you so much! More power! Godbless!
Hi Anna, I decided to get the AT2005USB, and it seems ok to me, thanks for your advise! This mic is awesome because it has both XLR and USB. Im currently using the USB imput so I would like to know what is your opinion about USB mics, a lot of ppl say that USB mics are very bad, and it's better to have a XLR interface. I read that in this field of voice over, less is more, meaning that the lesser effects you add to your voice, the better, but Im not sure about this. For example the AT2005USB that I bought is a good fit for my lower-tone voice, because dynamics mics are good for lower tone voices, but I need to get very close to the mic to get decent audio. So in this case I would need to amplify and maybe compress? Thanks in advance :)
Hello! I think as long as you have a quiet room and your noise floor is good, you won't need to process to much. I have a video on this. Have a look : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6aoEB1FpMck.htmlsi=9_tKyx7A_giXtYv3
First of all, thank you for letting me know that you found value in my content. :) Secondly, yes, Im afraid the air conditioner created a background noise. It was a hot day and could not survive the recording session without turning it on. Sorry about that! ✌️
What if you have no experience, how would the description be filled out? I have many other questions but I’ll wait to see if this one gets answered. Thank you 😊
Hi Audrey! I would not put that in the description, but do not say you are a professional, as well. Just tell them the kind of voice over you can offer. Corporate, narration, dubbing, etc. And then make sure your demo reel is stellar! :)
Thank you so much! Please check out my video How Does Fiverr Pay VO talents. I also tackled a lot of other questions there about Fiverr that might be of help to you! :)
