Excellent video Anna. This is the kind of "real world" demonstration that I've been looking for - a start to finish look at what actually getting and filling a VO job looks like. Thank you.
Oh Anna if u just know how many people u encouraged..just when I started giving up hope i found your channel..even lacking resources and having just a mobile phone i try recording and save it on my phone..until when I can afford a laptop and all of what i need...Thank u so much..by the way it's my birthday today..om 60 yrs old😊
I have subscribed to your channel today as i need more valuable insights into the business work like this.. Also i just wanted to say is voice coaching needed?
Hey, thanks, LP! Yes, a lot of those starting get intimidated before even joining Fiverr. Just wanted to show how Fiverr is actually seller friendly. :)
Great video, thank you. I’m curious as to why you wouldn’t add any kind of broadcast or paid advertisement rights? As this was clearly going to be used as a paid radio ad(based on the script and 30 second time restriction)
Hi! Thank you so much for your support! As to why I did not include broadcast rights, to be honest, it's because I am still trying to understand how Fiverr goes about it. So, as for now, while I am doing my research, I treat it as "paid work=includes all rights". However, there are cases when I do include copyright/broadcast rights, for example if it's an ad that I feel has a long shelf life and if buyer offers to pay for it. Until I fully understand how that side works on the platform, this is my game plan. It's such a wonderful question though and I want to include it in my future videos to help others (who are in the same boat as I am) understand it too!
Great and informative vlog. I wonder when doing audio books how do you prevent the sound of turning pages. Or are you reading the script off the screen. See I’m a newbie
I'm happy you uploaded a new video :) Keep it up! Please make a video about "weird" or unique ways on how to easily practice voice acting. Gawa ka din ng mga Filipino versions hehe Thanks sa mga uploads
Hi Anna, thank you so much for making these videos! My biggest fear is getting a bad review and having that negatively impact all my business down the road. Would love to hear your thoughts on this issue?
I know it's easier said than done, but don't let bad reviews stop you. Somewhere down the road, we will all get one, the difference will just be on how we respond to it. You could use reviews as a gauge on how you are improving. If you are brave enough, you can ask the client what it was the did not meet their expectation and work on that. :) You are not alone in this fear. I don't know anyone who is not scared of a bad review. At least there is a review, which means you did something!
Another great video Anna! I like the transparency and realism..15 dollars for doing something we are great at and love is a Win and great for the portfolio 👌🏾👌🏾
Very well done! You are impressive. I see that you provide MP3 versions. Is it better to send Wave formats instead so they can engineer the sound easier?
Thanks, anna, You are inspiring me to keep learning. I'm in the process of creating my 1st gig and should have it available in a day or so. Super excited to get my 1st order 😀. Thanks for clearing up some questions I had about delivering files to the client.
Can you give me the microphone needed, free software to process the VOs and the free scripts to preview. Also the intro to then submit your work in Fiverr?, keep the videos coming because they’re excellent.
hi po, maraming salamat sa tips.. ask lang po paano ifill-up tong part na nagsasabing Enter search terms you feel your buyers will use when looking for your service.
Hi anna, thank you for this amazing video. I was wondering if you can give some information about the commercial rights/broadcast rights, how we provide them etc. thank you so much
Thank you, I just joined Fiverr and I’m getting a lot of scam artist unfortunately. I’m guessing that the work order should come in first the payment is secure and then you produce the content?
Hi Anna, do you have any tips for mouth noises? I manually delete it in audacity but if there is a better way to do this, that would really be helpful..🥰😊
Hi! Since most clients don’t want to files to be too processed, i also take them out manually. Does it happen alot? What sort of noises? Do you do warm ups?
Hi Anna, great video. I do have a question. Do you always send multiple readings of a script? Super short scripts I can see, but do you do this for long scripts also?
Hi Anthony! Sorry for the late reply. With the exception for audiobooks, yes, I take multiple readings. Especially if its a home recording, when No one else is actively listening if I made a mistake skipped a word, etc. Hope that helps! :)
Hello! I don't know how to write my own script, can i use someone else's like words, or articles to record my samples, without the permission?? If not then please tell me 3 topics of recording sample so i will try to write a script Or what if i record about a story, a general topic or an essay for example, "Self reliance"..?
I’ve had a problem with my first two orders where clients have asked me for samples for the script, so I would send it to them then never hear back from them again. Are they scamming me? How can I avoid this
I'm so sorry to hear that. Did you read the entire script they gave you? My advice is to only read a portion of it is ask if it's okay to read another script as a sample. Or maybe your voice just wasn't the one they were looking for that specific project. We all go through that. :)
Hello Miss Anna, I am beginner Voice over Talent, I know little to nothing about voice over acting and I want to get started on Fiverr. I was hoping you could help me, I really need someone, a coach if possible to put me through. I hope to hear from you. Thank you Ma'am.
Hi there, sorry for the late reply. I am so sorry, but with my busy schedule I really cannot take on any one on one coaching. I am trying to find a way to help out though. I hope I get an idea soon. :)
Hi Anna, will all orders be automatically accepted by the sellers? What happens when sellers are overloaded with Gigs? I understand that sellers have the option to change Status to "Unavailable", but what can be done when the intention is to simply manage workflow? Thanks so much for everything you do for the community. I'm starting to work on my profile on Fiverr and I really appreciate the extra guidance I got from you!
I suggest that on your profile description, ask for potential clients to talk to you first before putting in a custom offer so that you can manage your workload
Hi everyone! I hope this video helps you navigate your new career as a Voice Over talent on Fiverr! Enjoy! This is a great follow up to my video How To Make Money on Fiverr as a Voice Over which you can find here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9g_vWqCH7Nw.html
I'm watching from India, but the Indian english pronunciation is different from American English... Can I sign up in fiverr... Do they accept Indian english.. Kindly help me
There are needs for different accents. You and your client just need to find each other. My advise is still to learn how to have a neutral accent, so that you will be able to offer more in your demo reel. :)
Do I exactly need any particular accent to do a voice over. I mean particularly any niche or someting, such as whether it can be either American accent or British accent?
I am Indian, I am just new to voice over acting willing to pursue as my side career not a full time but yeah willing to dedicate all my time and hardwork to become one like you.
