Hi there! Need advice, opened my shop on Etsy, listed 3 T-Shirts with licensed graphic I bought for POD and Etsy suspended the account. Phone line is not in service, nobody answered my emails. What should I do?
@@RyanHoguePassiveIncome thank you . One thing I don't get this: if you buy licensed POD graphic on creative market,. then you use it on Etsy. can they ban you fir using that POD graphic you bought?
You're right that's why I invested into assets like cryptocurrency and some other stocks but at a time I think crypto investment is better than stocks. Though I failed sometimes ago when I tried trading myself but Mr. bright helps me now
Trading crypto now would be wise but trading without a professional is really a bad idea I’m a living testimony of expert Jurgen's strategies and that’s his tele gram👆✅
Now I know how these Etsy stores have over 10k listings, this is a gamechanger. I actually found this video by accident and I’m about to list my first SVG on my store so this video was a godsend 🙏🏾
You can now sell files on Etsy through MyDesigns without having to use the converters. Example: select files from multiple file slots and have MyDesigns .zip them during the publishing process, or simply drag n' drop your own .zip files into an empty file slot on a listing. This is great for bundles, individual files, PDFs such as planners, ect.
Love the video, Ryan! From bulk color overlays, bulk product mockup generation, and bulk file conversion / publishing to Etsy... It's a pretty smooth process. 😎
Thank you, that was amazing and your girl friend was right! For a computer guy, you can understand for this old girl every thing is new! I have to say you are one of the few online that I have trust in. You never upsell me and I appreciate that you pass on your knowledge so generously. I Hope uTube is good to you! I will be sharing this with my friends! Thanks again!🌸
that is amazing .i can feel the universe rewarding me for learning to use a PC. i am nervous about this but will have a go , thank you and the creators for this,I think the price will go up best join now
Great video! thank you Ryan! and their customer support is excellent too - Thank you again Curtis! Question: when you create the initial SVG - what size you use? The MBA one?
Happy we could help, Tammar. With SVGs, they're scalable to any resolution without losing quality so it's not a big deal if it's a smaller or larger SVG in terms of dimensions that the customer is receiving. :)
Holy Cape Crusader! Forget all the tutorials, links, and precise information - for a moment. You are the MASTER and R U L E RU-vid when it comes to affiliate marketing, but in exchange, you provide incredible value. I left a detailed message in the community section of My Designs and mentioned you - in a comical way under "MyDesigns Updates: Bulk Upload Features for Multiple Listings, External Orders, and Duplicated Listings Support."
I am racking up views on this! Finally, seeing how crisp SVGs are when they’re converting! I understand for SVG usage - size doesn’t matter. But if customer wants to use this for PNG, DXT, etc…. Shouldn’t it be LARGE??? Is Juna’s 5000x5000 a rule of thumb you are using, Ryan??? Thanks for all this awesome info
How's this compared to PODTurbo that we can publish on Amazon also? Better? UI seems way better... I ask this but I've never used none. Looking to restart POD and Digital...
Hi, been watching all your vids on MyDesigns. And new with Etsy (which after creating it... it was suspended), question. in myDesigns the distinction of "primary" "default". Which of those show up in Etsy and are they both viewable on the user end? And jpeg file size needed for those since its only for UI viewer?
Great Video and clear explanation.. If I wanted to sell digital, downloadable wall art and allow the customer to download a variety of file types AND sizes from one listing/purchase (a lot of sellers do this), can I just upload say a JPG and set other file types, say PDF and PNG's and create different size options (4x6, 8x10, 11x14, 16x24, A0, A1, A2 sizes etc) within this program.?.. or would I have to do all that in say Photoshop, then upload everything to this program. Next, can you add a watermark to your mockups within the program? Last, the download link provided to the buyer is it a unique URL that will only work from the buyers IP address and can't be shared amongst other people.? Granted, I know once they download the artwork, they can send it to whoever they want and distribute copies. I hope my questions make sense? Thanks!
Alright ! Let’s be honest. If you had to choose…what kind of store would you open on ETSY first POD or Digital ? I’ve noticed the POD jewelery even the cutting boards etc, look saturated. But if marketed well could be a great place to start..any thoughts?
I have a question you put multiple files like png, jpg.. but you only upload svg. So how do you upload the others files after? Is it possible to upload a zip file?
Ryan, can I stipulate on my Etsy store for digital downloads that you can only use them for personal use, and cannot sell them 'as is'? Meaning they cannot just download my design and then use the same design to compete with me, selling the design on apparel and other items? Hope this makes sense.
I have integrated one of my Etsy stores, but on the dashboard page, the analytics window says "you must have at least one sale". I have about 120 sales in that store, so why isn't the analytics window showing some data?
Can anyone tell me the optimal size to create my artwork / designs in photopea for uploading as a digital design in Etsy??? Or does in not matter if you're creating an svg file?
If you're selling SVGs, it doesn't really matter as you can resize them to any resolution without losing quality. However, when using SVGs with MyDesigns to convert to PNG, JPG, ect... It will convert to the size of the "artboard" the SVG is on. If you're looking to sell 4500x5400px PNGs as just 1 option, then you'll want the SVG to be at 4500x5400px from the artboard side. I hope that helps!
I currently sell digital files on Etsy, I’m just wondering what about a watermark on the mock-ups. When I first started selling I did not have a watermark in the mockups. Bad mistake, no sells.....as soon as I put a watermark on the mockups, I started making sells.
Hello Richard, We added a watermark feature a few days ago. During the Etsy publishing process you can now apply a watermark to all your product mockups. :)
Hi Ryan! awsome Video! I've got one question: Isn't this a legal problem, selling the letters itself when we are using a free font? I think we should create every design by ourself right? :-)
For sure people should always check font licenses if they're planning on selling alphabet letters as digital downloads! Good call 👍 I am not actually going to sell letters, it was just for demo purposes
STRUGGLING! I do Wall Art. PNG files to download for large prints. Photos that I want to sell as Digital Download Wall Art. Will try and see how this helps me. Mahalo.
We have several plans / features in place to make selling print-ready wall art (as a digital download) very easy to do with MyDesigns. We'll roll these features out over the coming weeks.
So this video is no longer relevant, my designs is now subscription based and no longer has the "apps" you featured. Now I have to figure out how to disconnect my Etsy shop from it and close my designs account since I am not to the point of paying for such things yet
@@RyanHoguePassiveIncome i texted MD several times, they couldn’t fix….i put in my personal email with NO numbers , JUST LETTERS….and went thru. Idont know if you can change your email after being registered….but will find out. Thank you for addressing this challenge, I appreciate it
I set up Etsy and printful accounts and designed a few shirts. I set shipping and prices but this morning all these prices have changed. Where did I go wrong in the set-up. The listings show my original prices, but my Etsy store shows different ones.
Did you create your own font? I think that you need to make it clear that it is not OK to use fonts that are not your own creation otherwise you have opened pandora’s box for people to upload fonts that they are not entitled to sell as digital downloads even if they have paid for commercial use of the font? Seems like a very grey area that has been left wide open for abuse in my opinion?🤔

Don't wish to be a Debbie Downer, but when this gets going full throttle, it seems fraught with the potential for bad actor hackers to come in, sweep all the original files/keywords/tags of artists' original work that they can then upload at will to the same platforms we are using, as well as all the ones we aren't. Seems like the thieves would love nothing more than a one-stop shop. I hope they have a strong firewall and security in place.
The software is definitely thought out well and works pretty well. Of course I just have the free set-up Beta account and there are some functions you can't preform in the free account version? Or it seems that way to me, but I'm guess it could just be a little bug in the software? The 10,000 dollar question is going to be? How much is the full service subscription Software going to cost you a month? I have heard from one place, its going to be between $197 and $297 monthly and then I heard from another place it's going to have a 3 tier subscription system after Beta from $97 ,$197, $297 depending on the cloud based storage and speed of the downloads in Que? Which that would make the most since? But I think $197 and $297 would put it out of reach for most people in the part time P.O.D and digital download space. Only time will tell how this new type of software will be excepted, I know there have been a few other P.O.D platforms that have tried software that was similar to this, I think is was teepublic or teefury and one other platform that Amazon, Walmart, Ecwid and Etsy pulled thier A.P.I keys and stopped allowing thier automation to their platforms? I also heard that was due to very poor quality products that gave customers a very poor experience? Not so much of being a very unfair advantage. What's fair in business right?Unfortunately though I think out of the all the websites, Walmart and Etsy will notice the hugh increase in downloads from certain companies and individuals and again unfortunately I think they will only allow this for a certain amount of time, especially if there is lots of unhappy customers and returns. Which always happens in the P.O.D business. Well that's just my thoughts Brother. Take care. Hawk out !!
Hello, I'm not sure where / how you heard the price was going to be $197 - $297 per month - that's just not true. First, there will always be a free plan available at MyDesigns with up to 1 GB of free cloud storage space (we'll most likely increase this too). You'll have access to quite a few features in the free plan. Secondly, the paid plans are right on the pricing page (subject to change, they won't go up or down too much more than where they're at now), but they range from $14.99 - $69.99 per month.
