Guys! I'm a big fan of SORTED Food ( / sortedfood ) and today I have the opportunity to cook together with Ben! We're making a classic French dish; MOULES Marinière, steamed mussels! This is the kind of food I used to eat after work when I was a chef in Paris, oh the memories..
An amazingly quick dish which you can knock up in no-time right after work. It's delicious during summertime, but if you want to give it a little twist, you could use some dark beer instead of the wine! Enjoy!

Great recipe Bart! Pro-tip for people, I've had problems washing them enough to get the grit off the mussels in the past, and nothing ruins a meal quite like crunching on shell particles. Cook the vegetables and mussels separately and incorporate them together at the end, after running the wine broth through a sieve.

The best way to eat mussels is outside with friends and to throw the shells into a fire. Great video once again a simple and delicious meal. See ya next Fishy Friday.

Yuuuummm I want to go back to France and have some now! Thank you Bart and Ben for this recipe! ;) In Normandy, they often serve mussels with Roquefort cheese too, I love it! It's different but sooooo goood! Have you tasted it? ;)

+Littlecutefishy Just any dry white wine. It's a saying that the wine you cook with, should be the wine you drink while you're eating the dish.
