As promised this is the full process video for my Twisted Cosmic Barrel Roll. Though I’m thinking of calling it a ‘Cosmic Twister’ instead since its less of a mouthful and it has such a different look from my original cosmic barrel roll... Thoughts? Anyway I’m not really a big fan of listing to myself talk in videos so instead I threw in some instructional captions and kept various parts at a much slower speed than usual to make it easier to follow. So if you’re interested in giving it a try this should definitely get you headed in the right direction! Enjoy! And thanks for checking out my work!

Again love the stop action shots makes a great tutorial! So you left the rubber band in? And do you have an idea of what a shirt will look like before you untie it? It's all looks like "happy accidents" to me

@@cachecow there is definitely an element of surprise with these which makes them a lot of fun (you get that Christmas morning feeling unraveling them!) But I do have a fairly good idea how my color combination and arrangements will work out and the effect the ties will have etc. It’s a little hard to predict which part of the color scheme will dominate on the front vs the back because of the twist… but if you look closely you can see how each node that I tied off and dyed makes a repeating pattern that starts at the top with the crispest clearest string lines etc then they get a little more random and fussy as they repeat and spiral down the shirt. There’s more to it than that but it’s basically controlled chaos.
