For those asking for a banana free nice cream, here is a tutorial of "How to Make a 🍌-free Nice Cream"! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-S0-O4PwJySU.html
You can also a foodprocessor thats what i am doing. I love it. It comes out thicker. Oeps i said somthing wrong😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😊😊😊😊😊😊😊🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍🏼✌🏽👋🏼🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌 i love you,re nice cream recipes
the banana is the base its what everyone puts in their smoothie bowls (idk why she called hers ice cream) but if u dont like bananas they dont put it in
Tea Is spilled oh she called it right. And it’s not ice cream, it’s nice cream. Nice cream is like a thick paste of blended fruit , often milk or nuts too. It has to be cold , so it often tastes like ice cream, but way healthier of course. A smoothie bowl isn’t always cold. It can be warm too So sis, if you’ve got no idea whatcha talkin’ bout, just don’t :)
If you don't have an expensive blender you can use a food processor and use the cheese grater attachment and a little almond milk and it'll come out really well. Also, it's super important not to over blend. Your blender/food processor heats up pretty quickly when you're using it and it'll start to melt the fruit. Blend for the minimum amount of time
woah... cool but I don't even have a food processor... the only 'blendy' thing I have in my house apart from a hand mixer is the Oster mason jar blender. It literally only blends liquids, soft fruits, and soft veggies. Help. 😂
Guys ! YES you can make an banana ice cream with a cheap blender ! But you just have to put your banana and blend, for me it turn into a small piece but next i take a spoon and push the banana in the bottom of the blender and blend you just have to repeat this 2/3 times and you have a banana ice cream without any milk ! When i put milk the ice cream melts faster so dont put milk or water :) (btw my english is not perfect uhu)
Sophia FiaTia Sure- but mine always stick together. You’d probably have to to cut or rip them apart. Cutting them once after they’re frozen instead of twice could be better🤷♀️
Koo Tae I cut them and place the pieces flat out separate on a plate and freeze them. After they’re frozen you can store in bag or container and they won’t stick :)
I’ve been making banana ice cream for a year or two and have a generic blender, it just takes awhile and you have to stop it a lot but it ends up just as thick and creamy. I love it with cocao powder
Protip, buy one of those small single glass "personal size" blenders and they work just as well for things like this. They can blend as well as a vitamix but only cost like 15-30 dollars. It works because they use the power of a cheap blender but the glass is simply smaller so they have way more power proportionally. The downside is you can't make a bunch all at once but its not hard to work around.
love the positive vibe your giving off! Very helpful and down to earth and real, something that’s hard to find these days. Just subbed ❤️ keep up the amazing content
Yeah I did it before but I think it turned into a shake cause I added a lot of milk bit yunno the blender wasn't gonna blend and I used bananas and strawberries and tasted so bad
when I do it with my regular blender, I just cut up the bananas smaller & don't do as much at a time. It's a little thinner than hers looks but it's still thick & creamy!
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I made the best “nice cream” ever because of your tips. I used 1 cup of frozen blueberries, 6 frozen bananas (sliced), 6 pitted dates, and 1/4 cup almond milk. My vitamix stopped working before I got to finish but it came out soooooo good, thick and creamy. I let the vitamix cool down for an hour and was able to turn it on again, thank God! 😃
Great video :) Personally though, I make nice cream every day for breakfast, and I use 2 fresh bananas along with the jucie from half a lemon. Then I add around half a cup of frozen mango and about 8 frozen strawberries. This produces the same result more or less, and it's easier since I never have to freeze anything, can just buy already frozen strawberries and mango :P Cacao nibs are a great topping, and I usually add a handful of cashews into the food processor towards the end of the blending, just to add a few nut chunks in there. Great taste :)
Actually Vitamix recommends speeding up to 10 pretty quickly when making thick things like nice cram, nut butters or hummus, because it activates the internal cooling fan and will actually cool your engine better than on the lower speeds when the internal fan is not on full blast. So using full speed actually protects you Vitamix from overheating and stopping :D You are more likely to overheat your engine making these things on low speed! (This information is from Vitamix themselves by the way, and I have the exact same blender as you and I love it!)
@@AlexandraAndersson You are very welcome! :D We all want to keep that blender healthy and alive! Really like your channel so far by the way, just found it the other day, and although I'm not vegan I definitely appreciate vegan food and want to incorporate it more. It's also fun that you're a fellow swede! Hej Hej!
I just made tasty chocolate “gelato”, I wanted to share it: 2 C frozen watermelon chunks 1/2 C frozen dark cherries Put into food processor with 3 TBS MCT oil (to help not freeze solid) 31 C cocoa ( more or less to taste) 1 C water 1/4 C erythritol 1 tsp almond oil Pulse for a couple minutes, then Blend until smooth and we’ll combined I can’t even taste the watermelon. It’s just a tangy sweet chocolate flavor. 😋 Yum! Try it!
Got my Vitamix for $250 last November! Comes with recipe book, and a 20oz single serve set too. If you sign up for their emails you can know when they have a sale:)
About 3 medium regular bananas, 1/4 fresh pink pity (pink dragon fruit) or use frozen pink dragon fruit but then add a splash of plant based milk :) Thank you so much! 💜
the man you are with Alexandra is that your twinflame? I just wonder cause I met my twinflame in 2019, and it has been a hell of a yourney.. I love your name cause my daughter has your name💖
In doing this but when it blends the mixture doesn't move?? Like it's too thick?? Yours moves ?? I have the vitamix smart system. Its almost like its blending but nothing is moving so I'm scared the motor is gonna wear
Jhezrel Valentine Yes there is. I have experimented with many combinations of frozen bananas with other fruits:avocado, blueberries, strawberries, frozen pineapple, mangoes etc. ( and combinations of them) They each give their own distinct flavors to the mix and help avoid the boredom that can result from eating just bananas no matter how much you like them. There are tons of nondairy ice cream recipes on RU-vid. It’s fun trying them out.
There is a banana flavour but I personally think a fresh banana tastes more "banana" than what a frozen banana does. Try mix with it combined with raspberries! you can use also use full fat thick coconut cream with any frozen fruit but it will be more creamy consistency if you use fruit with less water content (like bananas) as papaya ang mango :)
I haven't made any yet so I can't attest to this, but another video said that the more you blend the banana, the more it oxidizes and the more it has a banana flavor, so try to blend it as little as possible, just enough to make sure it's all mixed in
Chop ripe unfrozen bananas into smaller pieces and then freeze them overnight. Freeze any other small pieces of fruits that you like. Thaw them out for four or five minutes and then blend them quickly ... and quickly refreeze the results for awhile...your decision how long.
Love for bananas 😂😂 what will someone do want to stay slim? That’s too much calories😢 Appreciate the alternative recipe but again high fat coconut…not everyone is blessed with great metabolism!
I used to do this back in the day and I tried at it the other day I don’t have a blender like you. I have a ninja blender and it has about six blades and I blended a few bananas and I added stuff and I really didn’t like it too much bananas. Is there anyway we can add like almond milk or regular milk to make it taste better?
that is not ice cream is mushed up fruit , it would be the same munched up oranges she could it ice cream when is not they are all the same mashed up fruit without the ice cream recipe
It's difficult to Count how many Frozen Bananas you used in your exact Recipe. One person used 6 but their Recipe had more Ingredients than yours. Would the Dragon Fruit or Pitaya Tropical powder work just as Well? How much Juice should we use so the Smoothie would still be Thick like yours. Thank you.
@@ReactarooSkidoo No. Nice cream is something someone came up with to sound cute and to say it's a better alternative (which it is), but it's still ice cream.
Okay, so if I make Zucchini noodles or "zoodles" as they are commonly called, are they still noodles? Would you be commenting on my video saying "no such thing as zoodles, they're noodles"? I mean what's the point of even arguing such a thing? At the end of the day, it's just frozen pureed banana. Which is hardly ice-cream just like zoodles are just strings of Zucchini haha
@@ReactarooSkidoo That analogy leaves a lot to be desired. "Nice" cream is literally homemade ice cream using different ingredients than established norms to get a similar result. There really isn't an valid argument against those facts and I prefer to call things what they actually are. You may call things whatever you wish.
What fruit besides the banana you used? Because I could swear that looks exactly like a Dragon Fruit...I eat them all the time...do they go by another name in your country? Thank you.
