I watch your video and I did my own egusi, this is my first time cooking egusi but when I was done I gave my neighbor to taste out of it, she said wow this is party egusi and I told her this was my first time she was surprised. I love your teaching and it help me a lot. Thanks.
Thank you mama! The best egusi soup tutorial no argument. I like the voice, the accent, the humility, she she’s not even doing o much, no fast talking. The steps are well organized, she even showed how to properly clean the fish(who does that?). Perfect!
Fantastic Favour this is the best tutorial ever, the voice kept me going because you sounded just like my baby sister. So humble and perfect. Well done.
@@prosperityerhiegueke832 he cooks all the other days. Or I cook American, sorry it too many steps in these Nigerian dishes for to cook daily. I have a 2yr old and 6 month old with 2 jobs
This video is amazing, I followed the steps and I made a delicious meal for my GIRLFRIEND on her birthday, she really love it, thank you fantastic favour. You just cemented my relationship with this video. God bless
Thank you so much. I've been missing authentic Nigerian food a lot recently, so I asked my mother to send me some spices. I cooked egusi for the first time in Japan using your recipe and it came out so tasty. I ate so much I couldn't move. My Japanese boyfriend also enjoyed it so much. It's almost finished now! Thanks again!
You're the first person on here that I've seen clean the dry fish. Most RU-vidrs skip that step and assume that we know how to clean it properly. Thank you so much for the demonstration!
I really enjoyed watching this! My ex was Nigerian and I’m Filipino, I’ve been craving Nigerian food oo for a long time. I can’t wait to find these ingredients and make Nigerian food for myself! Amazing!!
I just wanted to say thank you for making this video!!!! I’m Guyanese and my fiancé is Nigerian so watching your video with your easy step by step instructions really helped me to satisfy his stomach! I can’t wait to watch your other videos and learn more ❤️
Lovely video. I've just been watching a few Ghanaian versions and they are quite similar to the Nigerian one interestingly. There are however so many different ways of making egusi, it's amazing!

This is absolutely wonderful!!!💝💝💝 as a African American Woman, egusi soup is one of my favorite dishes in Nigeria, give me some pounded yams with that, and I am all done!!!😂😂😂💝💝💝
Thank you so much for this Egusi soup tutorial! I started cooking soups again this year and finding this was life changing for me, because I’d forgotten the right method, though I used some other ingredients ie chicken not fish or goat meat. Thank you 🙏 for sharing your kitchen! God bless ⭐️ you, it’s a good channel, cheers 🥂💫
Trinidadian here! My future mother in law has been teaching me but I’m here to learn in anyway I can because she told me videos are my best friend as well and also how she’s learned how to make many American dishes 🤎
Update!! I aced this recipe last night. Thank you so much! Sent a pic to future MOL and she was happy too! 🤎 hubby loved it as well, I just needed to add a bit more salt, I don’t eat meat so he tasted and let me know lol

I TRIED THIS YESTERDAY I LOVED IT ,MY HUSBAND AND MY CHILDREN ENJOYED IT , MADAM THANK YOU FOR TEACHING ME HOW TO COOK EGUSI FOR THE FIRST TIME ,EVEN THOUGH AM A NIGERIAN THIS IS MY FIRST TIME TO GET IT RIGHT HAHA .
Madam the soup it's self looks exceedingly palatable but the sweetest thing you did is employing the Nigerian twang in your vocals. Keeping it real as you are suppose to be, as you are, Natural. Unlike the cartoon characters one sees via you tube. So fake and unreal. Love you, keep it up.
I watched your video and tried cooking egusi soup. It turned out very well. I received compliments from all the members of my househood. Because of that I was asked to cook party egusi soup for the birthday party of my sister in-law's 2 year old son. My God the soup was delicious. Everybody that came showered compliments on me. Thanks again. Have also tried other dishes from you like the party jollof rice with goat meat. Super!

I've seen similar videos where people add tomatoes and I ask myself "who does that"? I wasn't thought that way but I know people cook differently. But seeing this video and how you removed the juicy part of the tomatoes and every single step you took, I'm going to try this egusi today. Yes, today! Thank you so much for a fantastic video!!👍👏
