If you don't have a blender...wow you are also addressing stone age person who have just stumbled around your video XD Jokes apart nice video and also didn't thought this was an easy stuff to make, I mean I was about to order €11 japanese genuine bread crumbs lol

The bread must be frozen? For both methods?

No, bread need to be frozen only with a grater. With a blender, no need to be frozen. Thanks for asking!!

Blend until there are no big clumps. I blend it for about 20 sec.

Wash shrimp in water with a table spoon of salt, rinse in water and remove moisture with kitchen pepper well. This prep work before dipping in batter will remove unpleasant smell of shrimp!

This is not panko. Panko is made by passing electric current through the bread dough.

thi is the best video since some videos encouraged you to take the crust out,..that's a waste of food...some also uses oven to make it crunchy but you! just a simple frying in low heat with a non stick pan makes the magic! this is very helpful!! ♥️♥️♥️

hi miss wagashi. thank you for the recipe. i have a question. arent regular western bread crumbs made the exact same way? so than what is the difference?

Hi, thank you for your comment. I am not very sure about western bread crumbs recipe, maybe it could be same but I find western bread crumbs are more finely processed than Japanese panko. I hope to find out a good answer to this:)

@@misswagashi thank you for the answer. so if how you make themin your video is how they are made originally in japanese homes, than i guess one can go with it. ive heared the process in specific professional panko factorys works with an electricity shok procedure...? i think although the shape is the most crucial difference. i wonder how we could work that out in a home kitchen. untill then- your recipe will be good. yoroshku gozaimas

It is absolutely ok to heat in the oven. Just I am more familiar to use gas stove in my kitchen 😊
