I love making pavlova! I usually add cacao nibs because I'm always in for that bit of chocolate crunch, and the mini ones are always just so cute!

Pavlova is so good, and the best thing is it's more impressive looking than it is complicated to make. Taste great with passionfruit curd.

Meringue is delicious indeed but too sweet for me. Probably the general rule 2 part sugar for 1 part egg white exists for a reason but I wonder if there's any way to reduce the sugar amount.

Here in New Zealand where the Pavlova was invented the favourite toppings are whipped cream, passion fruit pulp, strawberries and kiwi fruit.
