Any opening makes for a mess when it's finished baking....easier and less mess if you fold pastry into a long rectangle, and triangle fold like spanakopitas......
I wouldn't use margarine. It is like liquid plastic to the insides of your body.( I'm amazed people still buy it.) You are far better off using butter or extra virgin olive oil that is cold pressed and organic
Then use some sort of vegetable or fruit oil like coconut and you could make it more healthful by cutting the oil in half and adding in apple sauce. Also, I thought part of the point of being vegan was to improve your diet. Half of the meat substitutes and all the soy products are almost as bad as the meat! Vegans should be able to get past that. There are plenty of ways to prepare fruit and vegetables that taste great. Forget about meat and cheese substitutes. As far as pizza goes, it is the herbs in the sauce that give it the great flavor. For optimal health, Vegans should go raw anyway. Cooking food is as good as killing it. If vegans won't eat dead animals why are they killing their plants?By doing so they are robbing themselves of 70 percent of the potential nutrition! I'm a high raw person. It is very doable.
On The Farm (‘Stephen’s Farm’) in Tennessee 50 years ago we used to use tons of margarine for the same reason. It does seem really odd, along with what’s supposed to be a healthy diet. These days I use some butter. I don’t claim any Diet Identity (like ‘I am a vegan’) but I bet I eat less animal products than most ‘vegans’ 😄
@@emilybh6255 Absolutely true. I studied Macrobiotics and was certified at the Kushi Institute. Steer clear of imitation anything that is supposed to be vegan. Pure poison with any ingredient list as long as your arm. You’ll need a degree in food science to decipher the additives.🙈
AWESSOME!!Thanks alot for posting. I make them on my channel also. It is great to see other ways to make them. Maybe we can collaborate and share each others channel. Keep up the good work.
