Been a fan of your video for a long time. Just got my dado set and I said to self... I know Tamar has to have something useful on dados ... and lo and behold. Ty for everything you're videos had alot to do with being inspired to take up woodworking a few years back. It's become a small passion outside my 9-5. Id be so happy to be half as good as yourself one day.

These are a must have jig with plywood because they can be of different thickness from manufacture to manufacture. Awesome build/tutorial on making and how to use the jig. Looking forward to seeing the next video. Take Care.

I do admire your skills and your ability to share knowledge because you are never considered a journeyman one if you have not traveled after your endangerment or if you can not share your knowledge . I tell my apprentices all the time knowledge is wasted if only one person has it.

Another cool project that can be a true time saver when doing multiple cuts for the same or similar items.There are a few safety issues with this video,though.The shot of the piece being shown to the camera directly after running through the table saw,while informative,it speaks to the issue of doing multiple tasks simultaneously.The risk for injury greatly increase when one attempts to do so,you are using very dangerous equipment with the ability to cause extreme injury and needs to be given your total concentration and respect.When you have the least bit of distraction (such as camera placement or how to present a just cut piece for the camera) is when things can go wrong in the blink of an eye.The table saw needs your complete attention if it is running,turn it off when you are doing anything else.Same for circular saws and routers.I want you to be safe so many more of your videos can be seen by the RU-vid audience.Please think first of the audience that truly matters,your family, and make it a point to make safety the primary concern.Best wishes for the new year.

What is a Dra one asked? Bean town speak for Drawer everywhere else 😁. Researchers for the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority found over 200 dead crows near greater Boston recently, and there was concern that they may have died from Avian Flu. A Bird Pathologist examined the remains of all the crows, and, to everyone's relief, confirmed the problem was definitely NOT Avian Flu. The cause of death appeared to be vehicular impacts. However, during the detailed analysis it was noted that varying colors of paints appeared on the bird's beaks and claws. By analyzing these paint residues it was determined that 98% of the crows had been killed by impact with trucks, while only 2% were killed by an impact with a car. MTA then hired an Ornithological Behaviorist to determine if there was a cause for the disproportionate percentages of truck kills versus car kills. The Ornithological Behaviorist very quickly concluded the cause: when crows eat road kill, they always have a look-out crow in a nearby tree to warn of impending danger. The scientific conclusion was that while all the lookout crows could say "Cah", none could say "Truck."

I love all of your stuff. So much more simple in most cases than other makers, especially for jigs. Men make "man jigs" that are way heavier than they need to be, so I'm glad to find a woman making really cool stuff that is much lighter. Also, thank you for owning your mistakes and posting it. You have no idea how much more comfortable newbies feel when "pros" make mistakes, show how they tried to fix them, and then admitting to having to scrap something and start over. Everyone makes mistakes and I can't tell you HOW many times I've had to talk with folks (I volunteer as a supervisor in a 50+ woodshop, which means I have to teach a lot) about not being discouraged because their whatever didn't turn out exactly like the video or instructions. Matter of fact, so many instructions are lacking (or are completely wrong) in books and magazines that I've had to help patrons reverse-engineer the "instructions" going off of pictures. Yikes! I have to explain over and over that folks who make videos for TV (and sometimes YT) have to do them over and over until whatever it is comes across as "perfect". Even have to explain that TV shows have a LOT of folks behind the scenes, doing the work, finding mistakes, dealing with suppliers and delays, and having to do 20+ takes to make sure it comes out perfectly on camera. Thanks for reiterating that mistakes happen, especially in the prototype process. I encourage everyone who wants to follow any directions to make a cheap/scrap wood prototype to find flaws. Nothing is perfect. It means a lot that you pointed out your mistake and the attempt to correct before scrapping. Everyone needs to see that.

This is going to be the next jig I make. I have a project that needs dados and I have no patience for using shims. SO time-consuming. I've always used a set up block to account for the kerf of my blade when cutting dados without measuring. This has the set up block (in the way of a screw) integrated. Awesome!

I was so confused at the beginning wondering “what the heck is that”. Finally caught on during when you started remaking parts and assembling. You’ve sold me not only on this jig (which I’m going to make) but on the crosscut sled, I wasn’t convinced that I really needed a crosscut sled until seeing this. #sold.

I have the Bridge City models, but to do a project, I'll be happier with several that I can set and not disturb. So thanks for an easy build.

So many of these channels never show the mistakes you know have to happen; no one does it right the first time 100% of the time! And it is useful to see how people recover from mistakes, and refreshing to see that even the pros make them :-)

I have created my own Kerf Maker using a piece of 2x4, creating a slot on the top board and a hole on the bottom. I have used it and it works like a champ. I made mine about 7 " Long, 1" Wide and 1" Tall for both boards. I used a a long bolt and some washers with a knob on the end and it's a done deal.

I am so glad I found your channel. I've been wanting to make the "Kerfmaker" for a while now. The ones I've seen are either too kludgie or incomplete and the commercial ones are way too expensive. The only mod I'm making to yours is to use a round brass knob instead of a wingnut, but your design is awesome! Thank you!

Just made this jig today! It's been on my list for a while. I've seen other kerfmaker designs but they did not appeal to me as much as this one. Anyway, it took probably a lot longer to make it than it ought to have but I had fun anyway. Another great design from 3X3 Custom. Thanks.

Draw drawer (“drore”)...I known New Yorkers who, despite exhibiting few traces of “Brooklynese,” pronounce “drawer” as if it were “draw.”* These are folks, mind you, who pronounce each and every other r, yet still maintain this r-less exception. You're a router table ninja master. Love this jig, too. Finding out you say a word weird is kind of funny. When I was in Vermont, I learned that us Midwest folks say "root" differently (we rhyme it with foot instead of boot).
